Selena's eyes fluttered open, and she gazed out of the window, taking in the view. Stretching her limbs, she rose from the bed and made her way to the hallway.

With purpose in her steps, she headed towards the kitchen. Taking a seat at the table, Selena rubbed her eyes and let out a small yawn.

Feeling a sense of urgency, she reached for her cell phone and turned it on. Dialing her assistant's number, she pressed the phone to her ear, patiently waiting for a response.

"Hello?" Jessica's voice came through the line.

"Hey, did you do what I asked?" Selena asked.

"Yeah, it's all taken care of. I couldn't find a trace of the story anywhere, I double-checked," Jessica replied.

"I just wanted to thank you for your hard work. I'll see you soon," Selena expressed her gratitude before ending the call.

Slipping her cell phone into her pocket, Selena grabbed her purse from the rack and closed the door behind her. Making her way to her car, a smile played on her lips as she reflected on her life.

She knew she was incredibly fortunate to have such a strong support system. Selena cherished the unwavering support she received during the challenging moments in her life.

She had people who stood by her side and took care of her when she needed it the most. Instead of prioritizing her career, she had made the decision to prioritize her health.

She felt immense gratitude for all that she had accomplished in such a short span of time. The assistance she received during her three-month stint for lupus treatment and her regular sessions with her counselor had made a significant impact on her journey.

As she settled into the driver's seat of her car and began her journey to the studio, a small smile spread across Selena's face. She was ready to face the day.

She gracefully entered the building, gliding through the doors and into the bustling studio. With a gentle push, she closed the door behind her, shutting out the noise of the outside world.

A radiant smile adorned her face as she placed her bag on the nearest chair, claiming it as her own. Selena ran her fingers through her hair, a habit she had developed over the years.

As she chewed on her lip, a melodious tune escaped her lips, barely audible to anyone but herself. Curiosity got the better of her, and she reached into her pocket to retrieve her cell phone.

Anxiously, she checked her messages, hoping that Eugenia hadn't seen the story from last night. Her face contorted into a grimace as she scrolled through the messages, finding nothing from her girlfriend.

Sighing in relief, she slipped her cell phone back into her pocket. It was time to focus on her craft.

With determination in her eyes, she made her way to the recording booth, ready to pour her heart into the lyrics. Hours passed, and Selena emerged from the booth, a sense of accomplishment radiating from her.

She placed the headphones around her neck, a symbol of her hard work and dedication. Looking towards her team, she licked her lips nervously before opening her mouth to speak.

"Was that okay, John?" She asked, her voice filled with anticipation as  the music producer gave her a thumbs up and a warm smile.

A bright smile spread across her face as she removed the headphones. With a skip in her step, she left the booth behind, shutting the door firmly.

Collapsing onto the couch, she delved into the lyrics, adding her own touch as time went by. Finally, satisfied with the end result, she leaned back, content.
