"You're not gonna get killed, right?" Mary asked and I shook my head.

"Oh, no. But, something's going on in New York. People follow Sherlock and I around the city. We really don't go anywhere, just to the same places;  Empire State Building, Lucie's house, the station, store, hospital, surrounding buildings. Sometimes going to talk with Nathan's friends. I don't know, things just don't feel right." I stated and I stared at them, shaking my head. "And it's not like I can get up and leave. I have a case to solve, and I know that I'm so close to solving it. The answer has to be under my nose. I know the answer is so close, that I could reach out and lightly touch the answer." I said and sighed, slumping into the seat.

"But, I don't have information, and I can't even smoke to help get my brain functioning." I said, rubbing my temple.

"No, you can't. And I'm proud of you. You stopped so suddenly, and that's good." Mary said and I chuckled, shaking my head.

"It's not easy. I have needs of nicotine, but I can't even wear patches." I said but smiled.

"It'll be worth it though. This little booger will be healthy." I stated, hearing the car pull into the driveway, then a car door slamming a few seconds later.

"Sherlock's home." I smiled and Mary chuckled.

"You love sick puppy. Well, I've still got plenty of things to go over and more decisions to make." Mary said and I smiled, picking up my yellow paged note pad.

"Ok, so the wedding is taking place in Bristol. The decorations will be spring themed; yellows, greens, light purple. Aka, lilacs. Flowers for the bride are a white lily, rose, and snap dragon mix. Your cake has been chosen, which is absolutely beautiful. Your perfume is chosen, and we still need seating, catering, wine; which I still don't understand why you can't agree that it has to do with food." I said, looking up from my checklist. Mary rolled her eyes and smiled at me.

"Will you continue with your list? I always forget what's needed." She said and I nodded, looking back at the list, clicking my pen.

"Set up, bridesmaids bouquet and dresses, table decorations, list of people you're inviting; which you guys can either email me or text me. I received the fifty million cards by the way. They're beautiful." I smiled, looking at the package on the seat next to me.

"We've started on the list, but still need to finish it. You'll be seeing a lot of old faces on my side, by the way." She said and I smiled.

"That'll be interesting. And lastly, the bride's dress. I'm probably forgetting things, but... We'll figure it out. We got a good proportion of it already filled out." I said and Mary laughed, shaking her head.

"Actually, if you think that we got a good proportion done, wait 'til you get back. I've got so many more things that I need your help with." She said and I groaned.

"Why don't the both of you just elope? It'd be so much easier!" I joked, running a hand through my hair.

"Just remember, you scratch my back and I scratch yours." Mary said and I raised a brow.

"Pleas elaborate." I said and she looked at her phone.
"Shoot, you know... I would, but I have to go. Love you, talk to you later." She said and hung up the Skype call. I sighed and stood up, closing the laptop. I laughed and started organizing the papers into completed and non-complete papers.

I turned around with the finished papers and almost jumped out of my skin as I found Sherlock standing right in front of me.

"Jesus, Lock!  Don't do that!" I scolded and he smirked.
"Too late now." he said and I rolled my eyes.

"So, how was your interview?" I asked and he sighed, taking his coat off.

"He was an imbecile. I showed him the badge and gun, but he still claimed that I needed a warrant." He said. "So, to sum it up, I didn't get anything." He said and I smiled, cleaning up the papers and putting them in my folder.

"OK, I'll give it a shot. You Londoners are so lenient. Guns and badges get you into buildings. New Yorkers get what they want.

"So, give me the keys and I'm gonna get that interview. " I said and he thought for a minute, then nodded.

"We do need to grab a few things too. You're about to run out of your ice cream." He said and I smiled, going to the couch and pulling on my shoes.

"Since you're willing to get my cravings, wanna be a great boyfriend and get me red velvet cake?" I asked and he tilted his head, smiling. He put his coat on and walked to the door.

"I guess I could. Anything else?" He asked and I shook my head, pulling my coat off the rack and shrugging it on.

"Not that I can think of."  I said, walking out the door and to the car. I walked backwards on the tiles pathway holding my hands up to catch the keys.  Sherlock tossed them to me, and I didn't have to move much, just close my hands around the keys.

I had turned back around and walked to the driver's side, unlocking the door. I opened the door, hitting the unlock button, and grabbed the handle, pulling myself up and into the seat.

I closed the door as Sherlock got in and I looked to him, raising a brow.

"What took you so long?" I asked and he smirked, shrugging.
"Close your eyes." He said as I buckled  and I did as told, closing my eyes. He grabbed my hand and placed something similar to a stick in the palm of my hand.
"OK, open."

I opened my eyes and looked down, seeing a freshly picked rose. I smiled and lifted it to my nose, smelling the fresh scent and I smiled.

"Thank you, Babe." I said, leaning over to him and softly kissed him.
I slowly pulled away from  him and smirked sitting in my seat correctly and started up the car.

"Let's go get that interview." I said, smiling and turning the radio up.
