I walked up the pathway and up the couple of steps. As I went to knock, Lucie opened the door and hugged me.

"Nathan was here, Destiny. He was here." She sobbed and I softly and awkwardly pat her back. She looked up to me and I froze, feeling my heart sink.

Someone had gotten to her and got quite a few punches in. Her lip was busted, a black eye was starting to form, her cheek was bruised, and there were cuts around her face. The open wounds weren't bleeding, but they were still fresh.

"What happened? Did he say anything? Who did this to you?!" I asked and Lucie shook her head as she went back into the house.

"No, they brought him in and"

I looked to Lucie as I shut the door and shrugged off my coat, pausing my movements.

"Who's they?" I asked and Lucie limply shrugged her shoulders and started to nibble on her nail.

"There were two men and a woman. The woman looked pretty beaten up, had blond hair with dark highlights, light brown eyes. She was tall. A little taller than you."

I pulled the jacket's sleeve off my arm and hung it up and I tilted my head at Lucie.

"She have red lipstick, blood red preferably? Dark make up, leather jacket and black skinny jeans? Ripped slits in the legs?" I asked and she nodded frantically.

"Yeah, I met her before. She's a nasty bitch, she is." I said and Lucie raised a brow.

"You just... Your accent... Never mind. Anyway, the two men. One was tall, about 6' 2", and the other one was Sherlock's height. He looked just like Sherlock too. But I couldn't see his face, he kept his head down and out of view."

"What was he wearing?" I asked, ready to hear clothing that Sherlock would never even look at.

"A black button up shirt, black dress pants, shiny shoes, and a blazer."

My eyes widened and it felt like my heart stopped. My blood ran cold as I remember Sherlock dressing in the exact same outfit this morning.

"I tried to get to Nathan, and he pushed me back, then he started to punch me because of the woman. She ordered him to. I scratched at him, and I think I got his hand." She said and I nodded, looking up at her.

"And," I cleared my throat, moving the lump so I could talk properly. "and the other man? He's the one that held Nathan, I presume?" I asked and Lucie nodded.

"He was all muscle. I'm glad that the woman didn't send him after me. I'd be in worse shape then I am now." she said and I nodded, checking my phone.

"I've got a few hours to kill before I have to go home, so I can stay for awhile and talk about the case." I said and Lucie nodded, gesturing to the couch. She went into the kitchen and clinking was heard. I sat down and waited for Lucie to come back out.

"So, what I've found out is that they're making him do things he would normally do, like working, eating lunch with important companies, doing interviews with CNN. They're making it seem like he's fine, but there's always one person that's there... Making sure that... He's there but a different person makes sure he's gone punctually. Before I get there." I said and looked up at Lucie as she walked out of the kitchen, cups in her hand.

"You said one of those men looked like Sherlock." I said and she nodded and I closed my eyes.

"Fucking A, man."

"C'mon, Lock. We gotta go to the Empire. Nathan is supposed to be there." I said as I ran around the house and started to grab my necessary things.
