"I'm sorry, can you see the menu?" I asked the guy behind me.
"Oh, No, it's fine, I can see perfectly" he reassured.

He looked about my age, with black curly hair and piercing green eyes with specks of gold. He was pale, and it looked like he worked out a lot for a teenager.
For some reason he made me nervous, and I didn't know why. I tucked my hair behind my ear and took my food, to the nearest table.

He went to order and I couldn't help but stare at him, he's so handsome. Wait, what am I doing? I don't even know him, yet alone know his name. Then he starts heading in my direction, so I act causal and read my book in front of me.

I felt a pair of eyes staring at me for a while and I couldn't help but look up and see that the boy with the green eyes was staring at me.
He blushed so hard, he looked like a tomato.
I quickly looked back at my book and smiled a little.

For the rest of the time that I was there, he didn't look at me at all. So I decided to get up and head back home, even though I know I probably would never see him again.

When I got home, I was greeted by my mom. "Hey honey, how was the café?" She asked. "It was great, nothing that intrigued me." I mumbled. I headed to my room and closed my door.

I though about the boy at the café, and why he was staring at me so hard. I wonder if he lives around here? Is he the same age as me? I shouldn't even care.

My mom got a new job opportunity in New York City, so we packed up our stuffed and moved to Manhattan. I start my first day of school tomorrow and I don't really know what to expect.

I get in the shower, and turn the knob to hot and started to wash myself. The steaming hot water, soothed and relaxed my muscles. It felt nice. I washed my hair, air dried it and put it into a pineapple for tomorrow.
