Victory and defeat

Emergency

Alex rushed over back to her house quickly. Her heart broke at the sight before her. Liv was on her knees rocking back in forth with her hands on the couch. She was crying too.

"Alex it's too soon!.

"I know. Shh I got you" Alex soothed stroking her head

30 minutes later they were in the hospital talking with the Doctor.

"Wait stop. Are our children okay?" Liv panicked

Alex grabbed her hand and kissed it to keep her from going off the deep end.

"Unfortunately no. Your girl has her umbilical cord wrapped around her and it's causing her to give you Braxton hicks contractions. So we will have to do surgery"

Olivia was downright terrified about this."Dr!" Alex said sternly

"Yes?"

"I'm a Defense Attorney. So if you don't let me in there in that O.R with my girlfriend and future wife to be, I will make you regret you ever saw me. Are we clear?"

The doctor nodded quickly and hurried off.

Soon Liv was awake in the O.R with the block on so they could fix her daughter. The only thing that was keeping her calm was her love, Alex holding her hand and being right by her side

"Alexandra?"
"Yes my dear Olivia?"
"Do you love me and the kids?"

"With all my heart. I promise. "

Every thing was going fine until the machine started beeping. Rapidly. Both Alex and Liv were terrified.

"Alex what's happening?" Liv started to sob

"Damn-it the boy is in distress, page Dr.Montgomery now!"

Suddenly Liv felt sleepy. Almost like she was going to pass out."Alex tell them not to let...." And with that Liv passed out

Soon they tried to force Alex out of the O.R.. "Nice try! I'm not leaving her!"

Then the machines started beeping crazy again. "We're losing her!" The doctor shouted

So the intern forcibly removed Alex from the room.

4 hours later it was now around 4:00pm. Alex was in the waiting room and she was crying silently

"Olivia Benson?" The doctor asked

Alex stood up. "That's me. Is she okay? Is she alive?" She asked

"She is awake and is crying for you currently. The surgery finished up well although she will be on bed rest for at least 2 to 3 weeks".

"Okay" Alex said blowing him off. She then ran as fast as she could to Olivia's room.

"Alex!" Liv cried

"Shhhh. I'm right here my love. And our kids are both fine. They fixed Alexandra up and then they made sure Elliot was okay"

Liv calmed at that and then rested her head on Alex's shoulder.

"I love you Alex." She said softly.

Alex kissed her head and replied "I love you too so so much"

Suddenly the door opened it was the doctor. "Sorry to interrupt the moment but you have visitors."

"Who?" Liv asked painfully trying to sit up straight

The doctor pulled out his note pad. "Their names are, Amanda, Nick, Fin, Dominick Jr, and Brian Cassidy. "

Liv inhaled sharply at the last name. The doctor ignored it and went to go get them.

"Alex. He's coming. I don't want him here!" She cried. Letting the tears stream down her face.

Then the door burst open. There was Brian, enraged and flustered.

"Olivia Benson I want you to have an abortion or I will physically take those stupid babies out of your damn uterus"

Liv was positively terrified now. She started to freak out when Brian lunged at her.

He stood back when the rest of the squad came in. Next thing they knew there was a huge fight in Livs room.

It ended with Rollins being unconscious, Liv in complete shock and Nick with a bruised rib. Brian had a cut on his face. This is what the nurses found when they came in to check on them.

They loaded Amanda onto a gurney and then saw her arms. They were wrapped around her belly. So Dr. Bailey the surgeon carefully moved them. "Oh god. Our patient is pregnant. 2 months along with twins so she is about 8 or 10 weeks along. Amanda finally woke up but she was not happy. She was not only extremely nauseous but she had been put in a hospital gown and she hurt all over. She was then brought to reality by a face of a doctor.

"Hi detective I'm Dr. Bailey and I'm gonna check on you okay?"

"Where is my husband?. I need to see him. Where is Nick? Where is Hope?" She was panicking

"Amanda!" Nick ran across the room. When he got to her he immediately kissed her on the forehead and held her. "Shh you're okay and so are our girls. Hope is fine too. She is babbling away with Noah and Lucy."

In the room next to them Alex was holding Liv very tight. She never wanted to let go and they had just been put through hell. About 8 everyone was free to go except Amanda and Liv. Because of Amanda's health and the morning sickness she had to stay. Liv did too, but she was in recovery.

Amanda got wheeled in to Liv's room and then immediately smiled at the woman in front of her. Liv pat the bed and Rollins got up. They were both physically and emotionally drained, exhausted and many other things. And it was 8:00.

So they fell asleep. Eventually the doctors put Amanda on her own bed but moved the curtain so they could be next to each other. Nick and Alex came back around 9 both with very sleepy and cranky children.
 
Noah and Hope were each in a stroller and even though Zara was eight she was fast asleep in her daddy's arms. Deciding Amanda and Liv needed comfort the two parents took their baby's out. Kissed them and Nick handed Amanda Hope. Even though she was asleep she sensed the presence of her daughter. So she wrapped her arms around her. On the other side Liv did the same thing with Noah. What had started out as a horrible day turned into a sweet night
