The Wedding

The day everyone had been waiting for. Today. And the weather was perfect. Snowing and a little cold. Perfect for a winter wonderland wedding.

Alex, Olivia, Hope, Zara and Amanda were all going to get makeup and dresses on.

Nick, Carisi and Fin, and Barba were all getting their suits on too.

"Okay Amanda lets get you ready" Alex said excitedly

Amanda nodded. She wasn't nervous but she was so happy.

"Okay. I'm ready" Amanda told herself

12:35 pm.

Amanda was ready. Dressed in her white long sleeved dress with the veil down to the floor.

Zara and Hope were also in light blue dresses. Since Hope couldn't walk on her own she was going to be carried by Zara. Alex and Liv would be right behind them. Fin was Nicks best man so Carisi helped too.

1:00 pm- Wedding Ceremony

Since Amanda's biological father wasn't a part of her life, Fin and Liv arranged for someone else. Retired Captain Donald Cragen.

Amanda gasped at the sight when she saw him. He gladly went over and gave the bride to be a big hug. He was her dad in her heart.

"Okay Amanda. This is the moment you have been waiting for." Cragen said

"Right! Let's do this."

The organ started playing.

"Shining in the white!"
"Glowing in the sight of her loves eyes"

"Love is the word"
"Amanda Marie-Grace"
"Here comes the bride"
"Glowing in the lights.

That was the song playing as Cragen led the beautiful glowing Amanda down the isle. He couldn't be more proud of not only her but Nick too. He was glad to see their love for each other.

Then it was time. They had reached the altar. Cragen carefully turned Amanda toward him. He then picked up the front of the veil and folded it back behind her blonde curls. He then acted like a dad and gave her a kiss on her cheek and said "Go marry the man now".

She laughed and then carefully stepped up the stairs.

Once she got there Nick gazed into her eyes. He could not love her more right now. She looked beautiful. First he kneeled down. He placed his hands on her belly and spoke.

"Hi my lovely little daughters. Your mommy and Daddy are getting married today. We love you" he said before kissing her belly through the fabric.

Nick then stood up and took Amanda's hands in his.

"Amanda Marie-Grace. I love you, Our daughters Zara and Hope and I will love Jordyn and Kenzie as much as I already do and even more when they come. I will never leave you, I promise not to cheat, hurt or hurt myself. I love you so much. I do"

"Nicholas Peter Amaro. I have no words except what you just said, I love you and I promise to be faithful and not commit adultery. So I do"

"You may now kiss the bride" the guy said.

And they did. Their first kiss as husband and wife. Not long after Zara came with a cranky looking Hope. Amanda felt bad and picked up her youngest charge.

"Hi baby girl. Wanna dance with Mommy and daddy?"

She nodded happily. So Amanda and Nick got close and after a little while of dancing Hope got bored. She wanted to be with Alex now. So Alex gladly took her niece and let her step on her feet. "Come on Hope let's dance!" Alex laughed

8:00 pm

Everyone was pooped. Everyone had fun though. The wedding was great and Nick and Amanda were happier than ever. Even Hope who was exhausted was smiling. Soon she fell asleep on Uncle Carisi's shoulder. So Nick thanked him and carefully took his sleeping daughter. By 10:00 everyone had gone home and everything was cleaned up.

All kids were asleep. Amanda and Nick were too. At least Nick was. Amanda on the other hand was asleep. Just not in a good way. She kept having nightmares about her kids being taken away from her. And each attempt she made only got another person taken.

A couple minutes later Nick realized that Amanda was whimpering from a nightmare. She was also crying in her sleep.

So instead of waking her up, he turned over and brought her close. He kissed her forehead and began to stroke her belly.

That seemed to calm her down because she stopped whimpering and instead snuggled against Nick.

They fit perfectly for eachother and they would never commit adultery. They loved eachother to much to do that.

Morning came soon after. Luckily this morning no one had morning sickness and no one was in the hospital.

Instead Nick and Amanda were happily awoken by Zara. Hope started to cry so Amanda got out of bed and went to get her

"Hi baby princess, did you sleep well?" Amanda cooed

Hope continued to cry so she changed her diaper. Then carried her back to the bed where she breastfeed her. Normally she would just grab a bottle but she liked the bonding experience.

Hope gladly settled and latched on. About 10 minutes later Hope had finished. Nick liked the bonding too so he took her and began to burp her.

Meanwhile while Nick took care of Hope, Amanda helped Zara get dressed. She even did a French crown braid in her hair.

It was about an hour later when the family was finally ready. They were meeting the Benson-Cabot family too for breakfast and a day in Central Park.

They went to Sarabeths a kid friendly brunch place that also happened to be Zara and Noah's favorite. Hope just went with the flow and like everything.

It was around noon when they had finished brunch and started their walk.

Yes it was a chilly day but there was fresh snow on the ground. Today was going to be a great day.

To have the memory forever, the large family had a nearby person take their photo. From left to right it was Alex, Liv with Noah on her right hip, Nick holding Zara, and Amanda carrying Hope on her right hip.

It was a great day and one to remember forever.
