Oh no. Oh no. Oh. No.

I forgot to buy supplies for my class tomorrow. Being a student-teacher for a primary class meant doing lots of activities, and sorrowfully I have to buy all the supplies. Somehow it had totally slipped off of my mind, I guess I was too distracted from planning it to actually buy it.

I rushed to target, praying that it had all the things I needed. Okay, crafts isle... uhh let's see. Paper bags, puffballs, popsicle sticks, what else do I need? I shuffled along the isle putting things that might seem interesting for children into my cart.

After what I thought was a good amount of supplies in my cart plus a pack of Oreos, I headed for the checkout. Walking past stations of empty checkouts I debated whether I should go to a self-checkout, or continue walking down to find an open cash register. I chose the latter and continued walking down when I finally found someone.

"Hi, how are you doing today?'' The actually very attractive worker greeted.

I gaped at her, slowly putting my things on the moving belt and getting distracted from her.

"Uhh, Hi?" Making my greeting as a question. I quickly looked away wanting to drop everything and go home from embarrassment.

"So did you find everything you need? Any problems" I observed her shirt looking for a name tag and hoping she doesn't take it like I'm checking her out (which I kinda was). Thankfully she had one, Tori.

"Oh yeah, I got everything I needed. Thanks for asking, Tori" I smiled at the attractive lady in front of me.

"Woah. How'd you know my name?" Tori asked all amazed like I could read her mind.

I giggled at her expression, "You know you have a name tag on you", leading Tori with an 'oh' face.

A very cute face may I add. "Thanks," I hear her say.

I look at her dumbfounded not knowing what she meant.

"You said my face was cute," Tori said blushing looking away pretending to be doing other things.

Shit, I said that out loud. Well, might as well go with it.

"Well, not only the cute face but cute in general" I dig out my wallet from my purse.

"Well I'm flattered and all but its going to cost $27.89"

I chuckled at her clever input and handed her $30. "Very clever, Tori from Target, very clever."

"Here's you change and your bag. Have a nice day" Sending me a wink with my things in a plastic bag. As much as I wanted to stay, I couldn't my job awaited me.

However, when I got home and unpacked everything I saw a number on the bottom of the receipt. 'call me 532-764-2864 Tori from Target'

Clever.
