Staring. That's all I seemed to be doing as I sat behind Jordan, I stared at her long brown hair that was nestled in her grey beanie. I still had not said a word and I was beginning to become desperate, even a simple "hey, do you have a pencil I could borrow?" Would be good enough for me at this point, but every time I would ask her I suddenly get nervous and stop myself. While I continued to stare, something landed on my desk. A folded up paper was sitting in front of me, turning my head I looked at Scott who was signalling me to open it. Taking the small paper in my hands, I hurriedly unfolded it.

Why do you keep staring at, Jordan? The question was scribbled in Scott's messy handwriting, I was somewhat surprised I could still read it. Looking at Scott, I have him a face of confusion hoping he'd stop asking questions. Quickly taking my pencil, I scribbled down a response.

I'm not staring at Jordan. Once done, I threw it back at him after checking if anyone was looking. I watched as Scott read my response, he just rolled his eyes and scoffed. Taking his pencil, he wrote down something probably another question. Checking if Ms. Johnson was looking, I saw that she was writing something down on the board. Within those few seconds, Scott threw the note back at me.

Yeah you are, you have been for the full hour. Do you like her or- I didn't get to read the rest because the bell had gone off, signalling us that first period was over and it was time to move on. Crumpling the note with my hand, I stood up collecting all my things and stuffing them into my bag before slinging it over my shoulder. "So, Jordan. What do you have next?" I heard Scott ask Jordan. Turning my head to wait for her response, she was looking down at her schedule.

"Math," she groaned. My guess is that she hates math. I let out a small chuckle that caused her to look at me with a smile, I didn't think my heart could beat this fast enough with something so simple.

"I have math next, can't say Scott does so you're stuck with me. I'll take you." I told her, adding a wide grin at the end. I felt so proud of myself, considering I was able to talk to her. Jordan just nodded and gave me a smile before turning to Scott.

"I have chem, I'll see you at lunch then. Stiles take care of her!" Scott said, whilst running out the door in hurry to get to his next class. I waved him off and lead Jordan out of the classroom. For most of our walk to math we stayed silent, I let my nervousness get the best of me and hadn't said a word to her. Thinking on my feet I turned to her.

"Can I see your schedule?" I asked her, extended my hand out for her to place the single paper in my hand. You could've said something better. I pushed away my thoughts when she placed her schedule in my hand, taking it I went over every single one of her classes. Allowing my huge smile on my face, I laughed a little. "Well, you're lucky because we have the same classes."

"Well then I am if I get to have classes with you," she said giving me a smile whilst taking her schedule back. I opened my mouth and then closed it again. Feeling my cheeks burn up, I took my eyes off her and suddenly looked at the ground hiding my flushed face. But from the melodic laugh that she let out, I bet she did see it. "Don't hide your face, I think it's cute, Stiles." She complimented, making my face blush an even deeper red. On top of that, the way she said my name made my heart beat ten times faster than it was before. I was about to say something, but we had finally come to our destination and besides I didn't want to embarrass myself even more.

Lunch time had finally rolled around and everyone was rushing out of the room trying to beat the lunch line rush. Scott and I were walking side by side, while Jordan and Allison were walking ahead of us laughing at something probably funny. Looking past them, I can see people staring at Jordan in awe, though she didn't see any of them they surely were trying their hardest to get her attention.
