Ricky's POV

-

This party sucks. I can't think of anything other than Abby. God I'm such a prick. I had no idea about her mom. I feel like shit, not just because of her mom, but all the shit we put her through. It was never meant to go that far. But she would never forgive me. She hates me and I don't deserve to be forgiven.

So I rode here with Ryan who is most likely upstairs with some random chick doing god knows what. After searching for him for about ten minutes, I give up and decide just to walk back to the dorms. I could ask Chris, but I cant find him either and don't particularly feel like waisting my time.

Two ways back to the dorms. Option 1- passing a creepy ass park with no lights, or Option 2- which is twenty minutes longer by car. So creepy ass park it is.

As I approach the park, I see something lying on the ground. If its a fucking dead body, I swear to god... As I get closer, I can definitely make out thats its a person. Shit. I switch on the flashlight on my phone. When I shine the light on her face, my breath hitches in my throat. It's Abigail.

I stare at her in shock, at the bruises scattered up and down her half naked body, blood caked between her thighs. He eyes snap open in fear. She sits up and tries to scoot back. She looks absolutely terrified.

"Shhh...I'm not gonna hurt you, I promise," I tell her in an attempt to calm her down. She slightly relaxes, but is still looking at me like I'm going to kill her. I get down on my knees and peel the tape away from her mouth then her hands.

"Abby?" She won't look at me.

"Abigail," I say putting my finger under her chin, but she flinches away. Whoever fucking did this to her, I'm gonna rip his dick off and shove it up his ass.

"Abby, please, who did this to you?" I plead, hoping for an answer.

"Balz." She says barely above a whisper. I feel vile rising in the back of my throat, but try to stay calm for her.

"We have to call the cops," I say grabbing my phone, but she shakes her head violently. "Seriously, Abigail, we-"

"No, they'll ask me questions, and I don't want to relive what just happened. Ever." She sounds so broken.

"Abby-" I sigh

"No. What if they don't do anything? He'll just be pissed, know he can do it again and get away with it, and it will be be worse," she says starting to cry. If he ever touches her again, I will put him in the fucking ground. I sigh again and decide not to argue with her. I really think we should call the cops, but I won't pester and upset her about it. I hand her clothes and she puts them back on.

"Can you walk?" I ask her.

"I'm fine," she whispers, but when she tries to walk she limps.

"No, you're not," I say picking her up bridal style and start to carry her. She huffs in frustration, but doesn't fight. "I'm taking you back to the frat house so we can get Ryan's car," I tell her. She nods, but doesn't say anything. I call Ryan and tell him to bring his keys outside when we get close to the frat house. I set Abigail up against his car and in moments his out with the keys. I mumble a thank you and walk over to the car. We hop inside and head back to the dorms. Abby stays silent the whole way. All I can think of is how much I want to murder Josh. But right now, I have to worry about Abigail.
