I smiled at Ty as I mounted Spartan. The chilly air brushed my face as I trotted out of the barn with Ty following closely behind me. I nodded my head to him as I picked up the reins, signaling that I wanted to go faster. He smiled at me as I eased Spartan into a slow gallop, looking behind me to make sure Ty was with me. After a few minutes we had reached an area I'd never seen before, a forest-like land. I slowed Spartan to a walk and Ty blasted past me, just to turn around and slow down. "Hey Ty, have you seen this place before? I sure don't recognize it.." I muttered, a hint of confusion in my voice.
Ty slowly shook his head, scanning the area. "Let's check it out." He murmured.
I nodded as we rode into the area. Right away, I heard Ty's voice. "Hey, come over here," he yelled out to me as I turned Spartan in the direction of his voice. I gasped with amazement as I saw Ty. He had found a place surrounded by giant oak trees, lit by the sunlight. It was gorgeous. The grass brushed the horse's hooves and the breeze ruffled my hair as I dismounted Spartan.
"Hey Amy, are you hungry?" He asked me, reaching into his saddle bag. My stomach suddenly growled.
"Does that answer your question?" I chuckled, glancing at the ground as he pulled out a basket. "Good, because I brought some food." He smiled at me, as I sat down on the grass.
