Chapter 11

(A/N -  THIS.FREAKING.PICTURE. Dayum Cloud dayum)

It was about 11pm when you and Cloud pulled up outside the bar and you were seriously happy about being home.

You wanted to just go to sleep in your nice warm comfy bed and dream the night away.

You and Cloud dismounted and he told you to go in before him while he sorted Fenrir out. You nodded and walked over to the door and walked in.

It was dark inside but it was nice to be back. You breathed in the familiar smell of the place and you heard the door shut behind you signalling that your companion had walked in.

You walked into the room more and turned to him as he approached you. "Thanks for taking me with you this time Cloud. I loved it, even with all the trauma", You giggled.

"I'm glad I decided to take you with me. It was good having you there and now you'll be by my side for a long time to come".

He placed his hands on either side of your face and leant down to give you a gentle and loving kiss. You had both of your hands pressed against his chest slightly gripping the fabric of his clothes.

You both jumped when you heard someone speak, "oh get a room" said the male voice from across the room followed by a female voice. "Aww I think it's cute".

You blushed deeply and bowed your head down, leaning it on Cloud's chest. You peeked up to see your one and only older brother standing leaning against the wall with Tifa next to him.

"Way to ruin a moment Zack" you and Cloud complained in unison. Zack and Tifa laughed. "How'd you know we'd be back anyway?"

"Reno called to inform us of the news". Tifa informed you, "damn that Reno... I'm gonna kill him one day" you groaned into Cloud's clothing and you felt him chuckle.

You lifted your head up and looked over at Zack who in return grinned at you. "You're not angry?"

"Why would I be?"

"Well I didn't tell you about it and you're, well, kinda really protective over me". You stated.

"Hmmm yeah... I suppose I might've been angry if it was anyone other than Spike but I trust him to look after you properly as I know what he's like when he cares for someone deeply".

He looked over at Cloud and then continued, "however, that doesn't mean you're getting out of having a lecture and you're still gonna have to follow the rules".

They walked over to each other and started bickering like usual. Tifa came over to you and gave you a hug. "Congratulations (y/n). Who'd have thought Cloud of all people would ask you out ahah".

"Haha yeah. Thanks Tifa". You completely knew where she was coming from. It was hard for Cloud to even talk to people comfortably let alone ask someone out. But you were just right for each other.

"Wellll! I'd better get going. Can't leave Aerith alone for too long now can I. She'll miss me too much".

Zack basically made a speech just then as he walked towards the door but stopped and gave you a warm brotherly hug.

"Let me know if anything happens okay?" He murmured into your ear. "Ok big brother". You agreed and let him go. You saw him off and walked back inside.

Tifa said she was tired and headed to bed and you and Cloud headed upstairs as well.

You went to turn the handle on your door and Cloud went to walk past you but you grabbed his sleeve. He looked at you.

"What is it?"

"I err I was um wondering if you umm maybe err" you fumbled with your words as you didn't know how to say it.

"Ok" he answered to your almost non existent question. He obviously knew what you were going on about.

"I'll get changed and come in after I've gotten washed okay?"

You were slightly stunned at how he managed to get what you wanted but still you nodded and walked into your room and got washed and put your sleeping shorts on with a tank top.

You slid into bed and heard a knock at your door. "Come in" you spoke and Cloud entered.

It was dark so you couldn't see where he was, you only knew about his position when your bed dipped down and you felt a pair of strong arms wrap around you and he pulled himself closer to you.

You came into contact with his chest and then realised it was bare. "Oh my god he's shirtless" you mentally screamed as you pressed closer to him.

He was on his back with an arm wrapped around you and you were on your side with one arm leaning on his chest.

Cloud was quiet so you decided that he had fallen asleep. He did seem exhausted from the work you both did. Well, he did a lot more than you.

You plucked up the courage to trail your hand down his toned torso. "Damn he has a nice body" you thought to yourself.

"Aren't you being adventurous. Didn't think you'd do that without any encouragement".

Jumping at his voice you retracted your hand quickly and propped yourself up and looked at his face. "You were awake!?" You whisper shouted.

"Yeah I don't fall asleep that quickly y'know" he mumbled quietly back.

"You have no idea how embarrassing that was and still is" you flopped back down and hugged him nuzzling your face into his smooth chest. He chuckled.

Cloud played with your hair a little and then kissed the top of your head.

"I love you, silly girl"

"Love you too, silly boy"

You both laughed a little at your comments. You kissed his lips and the blonde man hugged you tightly.

"Good night (y/n)" he said sleepily almost in a whisper.

"Night Cloudy~"

COZ WHO NEEDS SLEEP!
It's now 1:40am and I definitely should get to sleep.

Sorry this is shorter than usual but man I'm tired. And I still need to proof read this. T_T

*proof reads chapter* okayyyy now that's over I hope you enjoyed this chapter (and the picture coz hot damn)
