Cloud Strife x Reader - You're Wonderful

Chapter 13

(A/N- that moment when you forget the surname of the main villain that you designed yourself and you have to go back and fine it... Also listen while you read?)

"Why is he here? I thought he was killed years ago. Did He find out about what I did to Tooru? He's gonna kill me..." Strings of thoughts ran through your head like wildfire while you were being held in position buy the end of a barrel of a gun.

You didn't dare move or take your eyes away from Clouds. He was trying to figure out what to do. But what could he do? If he moved you'd probably get shot.

You made an attempt to calm yourself down as the tears slipped out of your eyes and down your cheeks.

"What do you want with me?" A burst of courage hit you and you started to interrogate the man behind you.

"What do I want? What do I want (y/n)?" He pushed you head with the gun and you struggled slightly. "I want you gone". 

He shoved you down to your knees and made you hold your hands up. The gun wasn't moving from your head.

"I'd have thought that the head of the Nagachika family would've been friendlier towards people." You spat at the man behind you.

You couldn't hide the fact that you were shaking and crying; you were petrified beyond belief.

(H/n) (heads name coz I can't think of one) Nagachika. He'd obviously found out about Tooru having one less hand than usual. He shifted his position to stand at your side. "He must be intimidated by Cloud" you thought.

"Hello boy". Cloud narrowed his eyes at (h/n). (H/n) clicked his fingers and five guys came through the door. Cloud shifted his eyes at them but focused back onto you and Nagachika.

"So who are you anyway? Her boyfriend? How cute. Too bad really as she's not gonna be around for much longer". (H/n) laughed loudly at his joke which fuelled Cloud's anger even more.

"Put a scratch on her and you're a dead man, I don't care about who you are or how high your status is. You mess with her and you're messing with me".

The feeling of safety came back to you slightly as those words left the blonde's lips. He was ready to fight and he meant business.

"Aren't you a protective one hahahaha!! That makes it even better! I'll get to see your face drop when I kill her! HAHAHA!"

He readied the gun against your head and you literally felt fear go straight through you. You couldn't move. No matter how hard you tried none of your limbs would budge. He just needed to pull the trigger and that would be the end of you.

You gave Cloud a horrified look across the room and you saw his eyes divert for a moment up towards the stairs. He then looked at you.

"I told you I won't let you die didn't I?" He said to you. You cried more at his words.

"Cloud" you sobbed years freely falling down your face. "I love you so much" you let out the biggest most sincere smile you could and everything went into slow motion.

Cloud span around swiftly taking out the men standing around him and he turned and ran towards you.

BANG.

Your eyes widened at the fright of the noise and then the huge amount of pain you felt in the left side of your chest and lung.

You heard a thud behind you and (h/n) had been knocked out cold. You fell forwards and everything came back into real time motion as you landed in Cloud's arms.

You didn't really know what was going on. You could hear muffled echoed yells from Cloud and what sounded like Tifa.

You turned your head towards her and she was on the phone, probably to  Zack. "I wonder how he's doing" you thought as you turned to face upwards from your laying position.

Cloud was beside you his face filled with panic. You could see his mouth moving but couldn't figure out what he was saying it was all distorted.  His hand patted your cheek.

"(Y/N)! COME ON HONEY! LET ME KNOW YOU CAN HEAR ME!" You started to come back to reality. That was when you felt the pain. Your entire body tensed at it and you let out an ear piercing scream.

You coughed up some blood and grabbed onto Cloud's arm. You couldn't see properly, everything was blurred. More tears streamed out of your eyes and you started to really cry.

"CLOUD" you yelped out, "PLEASE - PLEASE MAKE IT STOP" you cried out to him and his faced turned sheet white. "It's going to be ok, you're gonna be fine". His words were simple and didn't do much to comfort you but hearing his voice helped.

"This is gonna hurt". You didn't have time to respond other than to clench onto him as he gently but swiftly lifted you up off the floor and out of the blood patch.

You gripped your teeth together to muffle the cries you were making as Cloud walked with you up the stairs and into your room placing you on your bed.

Your breathing hastened and you gripped firmly onto your boyfriend's hand. You were so cold. It felt like ice couldn't even match your temperature at this point.

Blood dropped from your mouth and he wiped it away. You felt tired. Cloud stroked your face as Tifa ran in holding something - a needle? Was she going to inject something into you? That was the least of your worries right now though.

You gazed into Clouds eyes and reached up to his face. You caressed his cheek but you had some blood on your hand and it came off on his cheek.

"Cloud your cheek is bleeding. You need to clean it before it gets infected".

"I know." He agreed with you to make it easier for you even though it was your blood. "I'll clean it soon, right now you're more important". He smiled but his deep blue eyes showed pain and he was almost crying.

You were completely out of it. You had no idea what was happening. The last things you remember were being jabbed in the arm and Cloud saying that he loved you before you blacked out completely.

I really need to stop updating this only at night it's not healthy I'm so tired lmao.
