Luke's P.O.V.

"Michelle?" I said, more like a question.

She looked at me, raising her eyebrow. "What? Never seen a girl before?"

Okay, now, this girl is Michelle. And, I'll be honest with you, but if she's not Calum's girlfriend, I would have hit on her. You know, if I have the guts to.

She's just so sweet and everything and any guy is so lucky to have her. In this case, Calum is. And at the same time, she's quite sassy; she could even go on any guy and tell him; "hey, you're taking me on a date. Pick me up at 8." She could be sitting with the wannabes or any of the popular group but she's so level headed.

I mean, she was only called freak when she started hanging out with us. It only got worst when she lost her brother just last month.

But, then again, she's Calum's. Its like 'bros before hoes' kinda thing.

Not that she's a hoe though.

"More like never seen an Italian hottie," Michael said, winking at her.

Of course! There goes Michael! Everyone knows he likes her but can't get a move on her because, again, everyone knows too that she used to like me back then.

Wow, how could I be stupid? It could have been me instead of Calum. But I was with Arzaylea that time. And its okay. I think its better that we're friends.

"Thank you," she said sarcastically before giggling and hitting him in the arm playfully.

"Did you just dyed your hair?" I asked, stating the obvious as I studied her newly dyed bangs. "When did you get it purple?"

"Yesterday after we hanged out," she said, playing with her bangs in the cutest way possible. "And its just the bangs. Calum did his too."

"Purple?" I asked curiously.

"So we could be dyed couple freaks?" She snapped. "No, thank you! His is blonde."

"Mine's red!" Michael interrupted. I looked back at him, realizing that he did his hair too. "Thought you'd wanna know too."

"Can clearly see that," I rolled my eyes, chuckling. "Hey, are you and Ca---"

Before I can even finish my sentence, Calum came out of nowhere, wrapping his arm around her waist just as Michael stomped at my foot.

"What the hell?!" I yelped, eyeing him.

He just gave me a look. Confused, I pushed passed him and opened the locker behind him, seeing that me and Michelle are locker neighbours.

"Hey, princess!" Calum started. I can hear them loud and clear behind me but I wasn't paying much attention as Michael sneaked beside me.

"Michelle had a little PTS earlier," he said in a low voice, glancing at the two. "She's a mess since Mark died."

"I know," I said. "So, you kinda drove her to school that's why you're early?"

"Well," he simply said.

"You're gonna be in trouble, you know," I shook my head in disbelief. "When she cries and Calum is not around, you take advantage."

"I'm not," he snapped. "We're friends. Just like you guys are. You know how it is. And she was afraid that Calum was mad at her after what happened so she came to me."

"You should have let them get over it," I argued.

"Its not lik---"

He was cut off as the bell rung, signalling that we have 5 minutes before our first period.

"We'll see you guys in the cafeteria!" Calum called as he and Michelle walked off. They probably have the same class. No wonder, Calum drops some subject to get the same classes she have and he's been doing it since they met. I'm not even sure how he gets to do it.

"I guess I'll go then," Michael said, sounding annoyed. Then he headed off too.

"Okay," I muttered as I head to my first class.

As I was halfway to the room, pushing passed the students heading to their respective classes, my phone buzzed.

I pulled it off to find one new message.
