Ellie's POV.
It's really bugging me that Alex has been ignoring me all day and I'm really exhausted of trying to find him. I kept trying to weasel him out of his duties, but his manager told me that he's busy and can't take a break. Or simply he's freaking avoiding me and I really don't know why.

Everyone said Alex would get into the competition easily; in fact, so did he. But then again, why wouldn't he? It's not like he's struggling to sing or anything. So why does he even bother to practice? Especially that much?

I can't even believe I let him touch me not even him but also this other guy who I don't remember his name.

"What time is it?" I ask Laura who's laying on her bed playing with her phone.

"09:30 pm. What is it today with you? You're going to tell me whether you want or not." She insists putting her phone aside and turns to look at me.

"Nothing. Really.." I reassure her with a big smile but she doesn't seem convinced. She sighs and crosses her arms in front of her chest to show me that she's not buying it which is clearly obvious.

"Really!" I exclaim loudly putting my hands up in surrender and she shakes her head. Stubborn much?

"It's just that Alex has been ignoring me all day and I have no idea what I did wrong!" I confess to her pulling my hair in frustration. She takes a deep breath and then sighs.

"Finally! I thought you would never tell me what's wrong!" She complains and motions me to continue.

"That's all." I admit truthfully and she pouts.

"What?" I ask her and she rolls her blue eyes playfully.

"Were you with him yesterday night?" She asks and a smirk starts to form on her lips.

"Yeah but I didn't do-" I begin to explain the situation but a knock on the window grabs my attention. Laura looks at me with a knowing smile and raises her perfectly plucked eyebrow. I shake my head and she groans standing up.

She opens the window and Alex jumps in. Of course he wouldn't come from the door like normal people.

"Hey." He says to Laura trying to catch his breath and his eyes search for mine. When they finally find mine a sigh of relief escapes his lips. He doesn't say anything and either do I.

I take my phone out and sign in to Twitter in order to ignore his presence.

"Uhm.. How are you?" He asks one of us but I don't know who since I'm preoccupied scrolling down my Profile.

"Ellie?" He voices out frustrated and I look up from my phone to his eyes.

"Fine." I say and force a smile since I'm not going to tell him that I'm angry with him.

"Do you need something?" I ask him with fake confusion written all over my face. He awkwardly scratches the back of his neck feeling obviously uncomfortable and shakes his head.

"It's kind of late. You should get going." I suggest and turn my attention back to my phone. I hear his footsteps and wait for the sound of the window closing to know if he left but instead I'm enclosed into a hug. I stiffen and try to pull away but he doesn't let go of me.

"Goodnight" he says pulling away and makes his way out of the window. How did I forget to punch him for that? Laura's eyes widen and she gives me a pointed look but I shrug her off.

"I don't know what's wrong with him." I admit shaking my head and turn back to my phone.

"You know I don't think he was avoiding you.. I heard his manager yelling at him when I walked past his room. He's very demanding and strict." She says biting her lip and looks anywhere but me.
