"We have to go. Now." Alex says ungenerously pulling away and stands up. He looks around nervously and then turns his attention back at me.

"Did you hear me?" The words come out of his mouth quickly and harsh but agitation is clearly blatant read between the lines.
"I want to-" I begin to insist but he unscrupulously cuts me off.
"Ellie stand up or I'll have to do it by myself." He states determined incurring me to huff at his demanding tone.

"If you think you can order me around-"
A squeal escapes my lips as he forcefully throws me into his arms with my head resting on his back like a sack of potatoes.

"Put me down! Now!" I scream hitting his back running the risk of him letting me fall but he just ignores me and keeps walking. I won't come in for his stupid behavior. My tolerance is fading away and his credible act starts to annoy me.

"I swear I will behave if you put me down. I'm at your disposal" I whine integrating my acting skills with my squeaky voice in my effort to persuade him to put me down. Guess what? He ignores me once again!

He's utterly blowing the whole -we-have-to-go-now- thing out of proportion. What if I wanted to stay a bit more? There's nothing wrong with sitting on a pavement crying out loud with your clothes completely drenched to the skin from the drinks some people accidentally threw at you! Okay maybe that's irrational.. But so is his sudden change of mood!

"My head hurts." I keep whining intensively even though I have a feeling he won't fall for my act. He finally puts me down and I groan in pain when my head starts to spin. Surprisingly unexpected he picks me up bridal style this time and speeds up his pace.

"You know. I'm able to walk too!" I remind him in a 'duh' tone examining his face for any sort of reaction but nothing. He's just looking blankly on the road and concentrates on how to ignore me!

"I fucking hate you." I mutter loud enough for him to hear and rest my head on his neck. He relaxes at my touch and positions me better in his arms.

"No you don't.." He mutters under his breath but audible enough to be heard. I don't say anything back and just examine his face features with discretion not wanting to get caught. I mentally smack my head for giving in to his charm. Charm? That's not charm! That's- That's just stupidity!

His phone rings and his body automatically tenses up. It keeps ringing but he doesn't seem like he's going to answer it.

"Uhm.. Are you- you okay?" I ask trying to identify his reaction but he just shrugs offering me a small smile which makes me think that he is hinting at something I don't quite understand.

"Tell me what's going on!" I clamour for him to tell me what the fuck is wrong and he breaths heavily. That's not good!
"Can you shut your mouth?!" He yells angrily at me with his words flowing out of his mouth like venom and I flinch.

My breath hitches in my throat and I look away. He's not allowed to talk to me like that. The sound of a horn distracts me from my thoughts and Alex mutters something very quietly under his breath. He carefully places me down and orders me to run.
