My eyes slowly pealed open revealing the familiar walls of my bedroom that were shone brightly on by the early morning sun glistening in through the window awakening me most mornings now that its summer time, well what we shall count as summer in Ireland. As its June the sun is out as it’s the warmest month of the school year. Which also means, only a month more to go and year thirteen will be over which also means only one year of school left I thought with a smile on my face. I was dreading the fact that I had to get up for school after a long weekend off because of Monday staff day yesterday.
Forcing myself out of bed I grabbed my clothes from the bottom of the bed and made my way to the bathroom for my daily morning routine before school. Quickly brushing my teeth and hair then getting dressed I made my way down stairs for breakfast. As soon as I was ready and approved of my reflection in the mirror I left to go over to Ryan’s house.
“Is Ryan ready?” I asked greeting Steven at the door.
“Is he ever ready?” Steven said laughing back taking a sip on his cup of tea.
“Good point!” I said laughing heading in the direction of Ryan’s room.
“Ryan get your fat ass-” Opening the door, I proceeded to get Ryan out of bed but my words were cut short by the loud snores that echoed the room.
“Ryan, I shouted!” But he still didn’t move.
“Ryan!” I shook him trying to wake him. He is such a heavy sleeper, I guess there is only one thing I can do I thought. Making my way back to the kitchen, I grabbed a big cup from the sink and filled it up with water. Being careful not to spill it I made my way back to Ryan’s room.
“Ryan get yo fat ass outta bed!” I screamed dunking the water in his face.
Suddenly he jumped up head-butting the top of his bed while cursing several times.
“What the fuck Char! You’ve got me all wet now!” He screeched angrily.
“Oh I’ve got you wet have I?” I cheekily smiled back with a wink before leaving the room.
“Oh and hurry up and get ready for school!” I called back up the hall.

“What do we have first three classes?” I asked Ryan whilst shoving some books into my locker.
“Science, French and Art.” He replied sighing at science, cause boy did we hate science especially that witch of a teacher.
Closing my locker door I turned to my left to walk down the corridor to science but instead I ended up crashing straight into someone.
“Crap, sorry, are you-” My words were cut short when I realised who it was.“You okay babe, probably should watch were you’re going next time!” Jonathan said with a smirk forming on his face. I could feel Ryan tense under his words as I replied.
“Well maybe instead of crashing into me should you be banging one of those sluts on your to-do list?” I snorted unlady-like back at him before leaving him standing in the corridor looking dumbfounded.
