Jonghyun figures that it's about midnight in Korea. But Aimee will probably be up, anyway. Jonghyun dials her number and waits anxiously.
"Dinoderp," Aimee says by way of greeting.
"Well, hello to you, too," Jonghyun replies. He sounds annoyed, but there's no mistaking the smile on his face. "You're not asleep yet?"
"I was," Aimee says, yawning.
"Oh. I'm sorry," Jonghyun says. "I'll let you get back to sleep."
"No problem," Aimee says. "But I expect reciprocation."
"What?" Jonghyun asks nervously.
"Sing me a lullaby to help me get back to sleep," Aimee says.
"Okay," Jonghyun says, relieved. "Which song?"
"Pick one," Aimee says.
Jonghyun thinks of picking one of those songs that Aimee really hates, and then decides against it. She'd make him pay. So he starts singing the opening words to Green Rain.
"Nice self-promotion. You really are shameless," Aimee chuckles, her voice heavy with sleep.
Jonghyun laughs. "Yes. I'll call you tomorrow, baby. Good night."
"Good night, dino," Aimee says. She ends the phone call.
Jonghyun lies there, a goofy, derpy grin on his face, even when Taemin comes in and gives him a strange look.
