PG [Fluff]

In which Key meets a girl from the Internet.

The Tumblr blog of Aimee's is based off of my own, because if I based it off of someone else's, that'd seem somewhat stalker-ish. Not that I'm above stalking people. Wait wut.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The fact that Key operated a Tumblr wasn't well known. In fact, Key was pretty sure that not even the other members of his band knew.

It was one of those blogs that called people peasants and had a lot of fashion and clothing pictures. The theme had a lot of this really bright shade of neon pink, the kind that could possibly blind you if you looked at it for too long.

Key had this weird fascination with a blog that was totally different than his. It was a fangirl blog that apparently worshipped his own band, One Direction, and Minecraft. It hosted an array of pictures of Taemin's butt and just Shinee in general. The blog was owned by a girl named Aimee, who lived in the U.S.

Half out of boredom and half out of curiosity, Key messaged her. Hey. I'd just like to say that I like your blog.

A couple of hours later, she replied. Thanks.

Her reply is short and cold. But he replies to that anyway. My name is Kibum, by the way. He uses his real name on his blog because it's less likely to attract fans. He's pretty sure that there's quite a few Kim Kibums in the world, anyway, starting with the one in Super Junior.

Yeah, I know. It's on your blog. Key blushed slightly and mentally facepalmed himself.

Oh, yeah.

Yeah. Key figures that Aimee is one of those people, who are nice on the Internet but quiet and cold in real life.

Where do you live?

Arizona. I'm in Seoul, currently, though. Visting.

Key's fingers hovered over the keyboard. Did he dare?

Would you like to...meet me? Irl? I live in Seoul. He hoped that she wouldn't think that he was weird.

Sure. When and where? It's hard to tell whether she's saying that just to be polite or not.

Tomorrow, at noon. How about in the lobby of the Hotel Acacia?

Yeah, okay.

Key's heart leaped. I'll be the blonde one in a red beanie.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Key wondered whether he was being stood up or not. Ten minutes from noon, and Aimee still hadn't arrived. The receptionist lady stared at him, probably thinking that he was weird for just standing around the hotel.

He heard a rumbling motorcycle get louder and then stop. Key's heartbeat sped up. He tried not to get his hopes up, telling himself that it was probably another person looking for a room.

A girl walked in, and Key's heart practically stopped. She was absolutely gorgeous, with wavy black hair that had a brown ombre; pale skin; and a slim but curvy figure. She had large, adorable brown eyes and full, chapped lips.

The girl walked over to Key. "You must be Kibum," she said indifferently, even though her eyes betrayed her excitement and surprise. She stuck out her hand.

"And you must be Aimee." Key smiled and shook her hand.

"Indubitably," Aimee said in English. Key had no idea what that word meant; his English wasn't that good yet, but he didn't want to ask.

Aimee saw the confusion in his eyes, anyway. "It means something akin to 'without a doubt'," she explained. Key really hoped that she didn't think that he was stupid.

"Oh....thanks," Key said, feeling stupid himself.

"Il n'y a pas de quoi," Aimee said, shrugging. Whatever she said, Key's pretty sure that it's not English.

Sensing Key's confusion again, Aimee translates. "It's a formal way of saying 'you're welcome' in French."

Key has to wonder if she's speaking in different languages just to mess with him. He thinks of a phrase in Latin that his friend taught him. It means thank you. "Gratias agimus tibi."

"Cheonmaneyo," Aimee said, switching back to Korean. Key smiled, but she didn't smile back.

"You're really pretty," Key blurts without thinking.

Aimee looks shocked. Oh, shit, Key thinks. But then she smiled. Her smile was gorgeous, seemingly lighting up the room.

"Gracias," she said. "You don't look too bad yourself."

Key smiled, too. "Merci."

"Dōitashimashite," Aimee replied.

"You know a lot of languages," Key said admiringly.

Aimee shrugged. "I know Vietnamese from living there for a while. Same with French. Japanese, Korean, and Latin I learned in school."

"So do you like to toss around different languages to mess with people? Key asked, because he's pretty sure that was what she was doing.

"I enjoy it."

"So, who's your favorite in Shinee?" Key asked, hoping that it was in.

"Mm, Taemin. But I like you a lot, too," Aimee says.

Key's slightly disappointed, but he figures that he has a chance. "So...would you go out with any of the members?"

"Sure," Aimee said, raising and lowering one shoulder in a half-shrug.

"So, willyougooutwithme?" Key asks, the words out of his mouth before he can stop them and coming out in a rush.

Aimee seemed taken aback. She didn't talk for a while, just stared at him. Fuck me, Key thought desperately.

But she smiled again. "Yes."

"Really?" Key felt like he was floating. This had to be one of the best days of his life.

"Yeah. Of course. I don't lie."
