The pool was a large rectangular size, with a built-in jacuzzi on the ocean size. The kiddie area or shallow end was roped off. Except for a few older folks enjoying the private hot tub, they had the pool to themselves. Raven, stepping out of her amethyst colored summer dress, revealed her slender form in a two piece, bright blue bikini. Beast Boy, nonchalantly, gazed at his soulmate, while sitting on one of the sunbathing chairs. He stripped off his purple shirt, laid it on the chair besides her outfit. His green form had gotten muscular as he had gotten older. He grew taller and spiked his hair. He kept the uniform the same though. Stepping up to the diving board in just black shorts, he looked around for the all clear, and jumped on the board, lifted off and turned into a fish before landing into the water. He swam around Raven's legs, whom was treading in the deeper area. She already had dived in poolside so her hair was wet and her body was adjusting to the water temperature. He swam up to her breast line and winked up at her. She smiled down at him and went to pick him up by the fin. She was gonna play a game but he turned back into human form before she could grab him. Making them both chuckle. They knew each other's games and jokes. She headed for the jacuzzi wanting to relax her mind. He swam around a bit, turning into variety of water animals for the few kids who had come down with their parents. The kids cheered and clapped at his talent, while Raven watched on. An older woman came in with her and smiled.
"Your husband is great with my daughter and my friend's 2 boys" she politely said.
"Thank you m'am. And yes you're right, he's great with kids."
"Are you two expecting children?"
"Oh Ellie!" A man called behind them "It ain't none of your business if she is knocked up or not!"
Raven blushed, she never thought of kids. Or even if Gar wanted any. Watching on she smiled at the thought and turned to Ellie and said
"No we aren't. We recently got engaged. But one day. Maybe. One day"
They continued to have a delightful conversation while Beast Boy entertained the children. He looked back to a smiling and waving Raven and her new acquaintance.
"Man she is loving this. Look at her. Happy. Smiling. Enjoying herself and other people's company. "
A smaller little girl requested a dolphin and Beast Boy did just that. She laughed, and petted him. Turning back, he decided to grab his wife and treat her to lunch.
Leaving the jacuzzi, Raven thanked Ellie and hoped to run into her again. She liked opening up and being able to talk without the judgement. Ellie had told her, she and husband, George, met at a friend's party and totally hit it off. They courted for a few years, got pregnant with the oldest daughter, got married then had 2 more children. Her best advice for the newly engaged was time maybe tough, but never doubt your love. Raven definitely could agree. Her and Beast Boy had trying times before and during their relationship, but their love had always remained solid.

Leaving the poolside, after dressing back in their clothes, hand in hand, Beast Boy led Raven to a small café. The waiter took them to a table overlooking the sound side. Seagulls flew around calling out, while dolphins break the waterline and dove back in off the coast. Children playing in the surf, adults laid out on the sand soaking up the sun rays. Admiring down at the activity, Beast Boy saw Cyborg and Bumblebee out on the boardwalk, hand in hand. Robin and Starfire were walking down the opposite way, Robin carrying bags. Starfire must have went crazy with the site seeing.

Raven, taking in the menu, settled on a cup of orange and raspberry tea with a large Caesar salad. Beast Boy gazed at the menu and came to the conclusion of having a cup of sweet ice tea and a vegan burger. He was a little nervous. He had something on his mind and she knew it. Raven couldn't read his mind, but she felt it. Having small talk, the couple ate mostly in quiet. Finally Raven spoke up
"Ah.. Is everything alright Gar?"
"Yea Rae."
"It's not like you to be so... quiet."
"Just thinking." is all he replied.
"I wonder about what "she pondered.
