The next day Raven was released. Beast Boy took her home. He stayed with her in their room. He got her food and tea. Helped her shower and dress. She had her ups and downs during the next month. She would get angry and blame herself. She would try to kill Terra in her dreams at night. She wanted revenge for her baby and then cry for a few hours. Beast Boy never left her side. Finally her cycle came back and then she was back to normal with the hormones. But she still felt upset with the lost. Her OB/GYN doctor, Dr. Shields, reassured her in time she'll heal from the pain. He told Beast Boy to hang in there. She was given the all clear at her appointment and they went home. Mentally she wanted to break. Psychically she wanted to destroy Terra, but she was serving a life sentence for murder on an unborn baby. Being someone's bitch in prison instead of Slade would be revenge on its own.
Wanting some alone time, she flew out to the rooftop. Beast Boy wanted to stay by her side, but he gave her space. He didn't want to play video games with Cyborg. He sat on the couch. No TV on. Just listening to the sounds of the rain. The tower was quiet. Everyone, but Cy was out. Everyone wanted Raven to feel better, but everyone stayed away from those emotions. She was unstable they knew. Cy was fixing the Tcar when Beast Boy walked in.
"Hang in there buddy" Cyborg quietly spoken to sound of the sigh.
"She'll be back to her fun loving self. You just need to keep doing what you are doing"
"Cy she hasn't spoken much to me. She thanks me though."
"Raven is going through a difficult time"
"So am I, It was mine as well."
"Well maybe you two need a break. "
"Why would you say that?! I'd never-"
"A break from the tower. A vacation more like it. Take her mind off things. She needs you now more than ever."
"Good idea Cy I'll go ask her."
He thanked his best friend and went up to rooftop. Doing this so many times before, he'd sit and watch her while she meditated. She always looked so at peace, levitating in the air, eyes closed, fingers in a pinching form at her sides. The shoreline crashes below her, the sun warming her face. Her face wasn't shielded by her cloak. She had on a black plain tee with black yoga pants. Her mat was rolled up, she must have came up to exercise. Her body was back to normal. Still slender. Her hair was up in a messy bun. Her nails were painted red. He watched her, wondering if he should come back later as to not disturb her.
"Please come here Garfield." She spoken.
"I didn't want to disrupt you."
"You're fine my love. I felt your presence. Thank you for checking me out" she smiled slightly "You forgot I can read minds. And actually I needed that. It made me feel... like I'm still human. Gar I am the one who is sorry. I shouldn't ban you away. I-"
Beast Boy held her in his arms. Kissing her on the lips to hush her, she felt a blush rose on her cheeks. She kissed back knowing he was her savior. She felt bad for keeping him at a distance. She felt better, however, after her long meditation. Her emotions were still upset, but in time they would be a family.
"In all due time we will be a family my love. In all due time we will have a little one. But may we go back on track with the wedding? That is. If you still want to be my husband?"
"Silly girl, I'd never leave you. Ever." He replied back.
