James honestly didn't now where it came from.

These emotions and feelings, they seemed to have appeared from nothing. Maybe he always had them, and was too focused on something else to actually acknowledge them; or possibly it was his body reacting to something he couldn't control.

I've said it before, and I will again; love won't save, but it can sure make it a hell of a lot better. It distracts you for a little bit, an escape that too many find themselves lost in. James and Aleks both found comfort in the fact that they might have something more.

Maybe that's what caused the downfall.

"I fucking can't say it, why the fuck can't I say it?" James growled, face growing a bit red at his outburst. He was with everyone, Aleks in particular giving him a strange glance.

"You okay, bud?" Jordan asked, swallowing the last of his sandwhich he had brought for lunch. James was ignoring him completely though, his focus on the table beneath him.

"No," he answered steadily, rising to his feet. "No, I'm not fucking fine," he mumbled, walking out the door.  He regretted it the instant the door clicked shut behind him.  He shouldn't have done that, he shouldn't have caused a scene; but of course he was so selfish that he did.

"James?" Aleks called out as he left the room as well, having just assured the guys that this was a simple issue he could get over with a bit of convincing.

At least, Aleks hoped it was only a little bit.

"What the fuck do you want?" James mumbled, his shoulders hunched as he left the office.

"Hey, wait up!" Aleks called out, jogging to catch up with him and walk down the stairs with him.  "Um, is everything alright?"

"No. Not really, I mean." James mumbled with a shrug.

"Okay... Well do you mind telling me what's wrong?" Aleks asked softly, his shoulders bumping James'.

"Can't say it; It doesn't come out."

"What doesn't?  I mean, it's words, not that hard to say," Aleks said with a small smile.

"Harder than you'd think, especially when you're torn on if you should or shouldn't say them," James said.  The both of them were now walking somewhere unknown, James seemingly not caring as they left the building and stepped into the parking lot.

"Whatever, it's fine.  You don't have to tell me," Aleks mumbled with slight disappointment.  James swore a small piece of him was crushed. "Where're we going anyway?"

"Don't know."

"Well, sounds perfect to me."

James cracked a smile anyway, sighing as he
