"Let go of me!" I said screaming at the top of my lungs.

Fear is creeping all over my body. I tried to break free from the arms that is holding me. I tried as hard as I could but my body is too weak compare to the strong body that is against mine.

"Let me go!" I screamed once again.

"No." The voice said firmly. "I will not let you do it" he adds lifting me up and taking me away from the clip.

What the?! How was he able to do that? Lifting me up so effortlessly? Who the hell is this guy? A stalker? Oh no no no! I gushed in panic, flinching and straggling as hard as I could.

I keep on babbling words as I tried every effort  to break free. I screamed, I shouted. It was useless. I felt him lift me up higher and place me on top of his shoulder. My eyes grew wide in horror. I heard him mumbled words I didn't understand or should I say I didn't bother understanding. I need to do something. I must. I cannot let this lunatic just take me somewhere I rather not imagine. I'd rather die.

With me hanged on his shoulder, I tried to punch his back. As hard as I could. I just keep on flipping. I don't know if any effort will work but I still have to try, I will not make things easy for this lunatic.

As I punch and flip, trying to get away I accidentally hit his center with my legs. It was accidental but it is forceful, given that adrenaline is rushing over my system. I heard him groan in pain. Bingo. My brain lighted. I should have done this earlier. He started to loosen his grip, I keep on flipping to break free from him. I, then, felt him loose his balance.

What happens next is something I didn't expect. We both lose our balance making us stumble down the side of the clip. Oh no. I think I'll be facing my death earlier than I expected..

What the he-- just happened? I asked myself as I hold my head.

I can still feel the world going around. The last thing I remember was seeing a lady at the edge of the clip, standing at the verge of suicide. Though it is never my business to trespass on anybody's life, I just cannot let her take her own life. I grabbed her and held her out of danger but she kept on flipping and straggling, until she kicked my -- ohh shame. I shook my head with that memory.

And then the next thing I knew is that we are already rolling down the clip. I inspect myself, there is just minor bruises probably from the sharp stones we've rolled. I touched my head, there a sting of pain but no signs of blood.

I hear silent shrug near me, it is the lady in pink sundress. She is still on the floor cupping her forehead.

"Miss, are you okay?" I asked as I ran towards her, I reached her arms to inspect if there is any serious bruise.

"Don't you dare touch me!" She nearly shouted as she grabbed her arms away from me. "What do you think you're doing? Who are you?" Slowly, she tried to stand only to fall again to the ground. She mumble words only she could understand.

"Let me help you." I said again.

"I said, leave me alone!" She shouted in panic as she glared at me. "Or else I will sue you!" Her glare is sharper than earlier. She clears herself from soil and dirt, attempting to stand once more.

"What?" I asked not believing what I'am hearing.

"I will sue you for stalking me."

"Stalking you?" I asked back. "I'm not a stalker. I don't even know you."

"Well then, if you are not, you're probably some random guys that lost his sanity."

My eyes grew wide, I can't believe her. "Miss, is that how you say thank you?"

"Thank you for what?" She asked angrily, "For the bruises? For the injury? For dragging me down the clip?"

"I just saved your life."

"You just what?!" she asked in between anger and confusion.

"Save your life."

"Save my --" Her voice faded as she looked at me unbelievingly. Trying to figure out the situation, she let out a scoff as she turned her face away.

I just stood there looking at her. I think I'm finally making sense of what is happening.

The lady in sundress, turned to meet me in the eye, "Did you think?"

"You weren't?" I asked in confusion, thinking how I can get out of this situation.

 "I can't believe this."

Standing on her feet, she tried to walk away.

"Where are you going?"

"Home. And don't you dare follow me!" She adds as she walked away.

I watched her as she walk alone. She is limping, she must have her left foot injured when we rolled down the clip. Pain is drawing beads of water in her head. I secretly observed the young lady, despite her messy hair, the frown in her face, her sharp glare and irritated aura, she still radiates in beauty.

"Where are you going?" She asked me with a sharp glare.

"Home." I said blankly. "Don't have funny ideas. I'm not following you."

She didn't say anything though. Her eyes is fixed on the road in front of her and maybe somewhere else beyond. I just walk behind her, trying not to intrude her space. Yet every now and then I see her struggle with pain, she would stumble and pause holding on to her injured foot.

I really would want to help her, bear with her pain, make it a little bit easier, walk with her and lead her home. But she is right, this is entirely my fault. And though she made it clear that she doesn't need any help, my guilt just won't let me be.

"Miss.." I called once again.

Ignoring me, she kept on walking. I tried to overtake and stand in front of her.

"Miss, I'm sorry.. " I said, making her stop.

"Miss, I'm not a bad person. It was an awful misunderstanding." I wanted to ignore her just like what she wanted but I cannot bear to see her struggle. "It is just that seeing you at the edge of the clip freaked the hell out of me." I continued.

She raised her head to look at me. Finally. She is now finally looking at me and listening to me. I can feel my throat dry and my heart pumping. I swallowed hard as I return her gaze, "I feel sorry for all of this. I'm sorry that this happened to you. Now, if you will only please, lessen my guilt.." I said sincerely looking straight in her eyes, "let me help you.." Extending my hand towards her.

For a moment, she stay there standing just looking at me. Her eyes were examining. Until I see her hand move in hesitation, it reached down her skirt and tore the hem of it.

"You, yourself is bleeding." She said in a soft voice. Her irritated aura disappeared and was replaced with warmth. I watched her hand moved toward my forehead, delicately wiping it with the cloth. She then, tore another and knotted it around my head.

I smiled at her, once again offering my hand. Gladly this time, she accepted my help.
