"Ugghh," I sighed in frustration as I wiggle my feet up in the air. I let out another sigh as I forced myself to rise from the bed. I can't sleep.
I lazily dropped my shoulder as I stare on the ceiling. I've been tossing around my bed for about an hour or two, but I cannot sleep. My head held high, I stared closely to the ceiling, involuntarily smiling to myself as I remember the things that happened today.
Today's life session is my favorite so far, I always enjoy it though but today was special. Could it be because of Clio? It's amusing to have her today and listen as she speaks about her dreams and aspirations. My mind was drawn on the image of her speaking in front of the class, the glow on her eyes while speaking and the blush on her cheeks while doing so. She looks so warm and welcoming. My smile grew wider as I indulged myself to the memory of the bear hug. I then bowed my head; my smile froze as an unknown feeling wrapped my heart in silence.
"Hug makes you trust a person."
Those were the words I spoke to Clio as we part our ways tonight. I shook my head as the sudden realization drew my mind. Not being sure of what draws me to her or what leads me into hugging her.
Hug makes you trust a person, echoed back in my mind. I smile pettily. What kind of excuse is that? Who needs trusting anyway? For whom is that hug for? Is it her that should be putting trust unto me or is it me yearning trust from her?
I tucked back to bed and let out another sigh.
She must be thinking I'm a weird guy. I shook my head with the idea.
Putting my arms under my head, I push those thoughts away. Thinking such things doesn't suit me anyway. I close my eyes, hoping this time sleep would drag me around.

"Get out of here, we don't need you!" a lady in her forties shouted angrily towards the little boy. Furiously throwing clothes on the ground as she drags the small kid away."Auntie, please.." the little boy cried, pleading and kneeling to the ground. "I have nowhere to go, auntie please.." still sobbing, the boy gently crawled towards the old lady. Touching the hem of her skirt, the boy plead once more.
"Auntie please,"
"Don't touch me, you little brat!" the lady shouted all the more, angrier than before. "You're a useless bastard, if not for my husband I will not let you in. But then despite all the things I've done for you, you still have the guts to rebel and hurt Gael?!"
"Auntie it is not true," trying to defend his case, "I didn't hurt Gael -- Auntie please.."
But the lady she's been calling auntie wouldn't listen to him. Instead with furious eyes, she slowly walked towards the young boy. Stooping down, he drastically cupped the young boy's chin.
"Blame your mom for leading you into this miserable life." with that, the old lady the kid has been calling auntie let go of his fragile cheeks tossing the boy more into the ground. Standing up to her feet, the lady walked away shutting the door closed to the poor little boy.
Everything else went black.
"Hey kid, wake up!"
A monstrous sound echoed, while the eyes of the kid are still blurred with tears.
"I said wake up! It's time to work!"
Trying to widen his eyes, he saw an image of a man approaching him. He was holding a thick bat on his right hand.
"I said wake up!" the voice came even louder.
And the image of the man transforms into a monstrous shadow and the echoes in the child head became even louder.
"Wake up, you bastard."
"Get out of here! We don't need you!"
"Useless bastard!"
"Useless bastard!"
"Useless bastard!"
The voices keep getting louder and louder, while the images become even blurry and the shadows gradually transforming into silhouettes of beasts. Overwhelming the prickled young spirit of the child, squeezing him in the corner of the dark empty room. The shadows just keep on getting bigger and bigger, swallowing his hearts with fear and dread.
"Somebody pleeease.." he whispered as he tried covering his ears, shutting the noises and screams that we're torturing his fragile heart.
"Save me.."
Painful experiences hunt down like nightmares - no matter how far you've run, it will never stop until the chase is done. That is how this life is, an unending chase of pain.
"Save me..." the little boy plead almost whispering, his body shivering in terror as cold shadows and terrifying voices wrapped his soul.
This is a nightmare.
