"It's not only rainbows and butterflies, it's compromise that moves us along." I said singing along with Maroon 5 in my car stereo.

Beside me is Axel, driving my convertible Volkswagen beetle. My favorite car in the world, which I have acquired from hard works in filming, restless and almost sleepless schedule as an actress.

I made him agree to use my car tonight living his lexus jeep behind, his own favorite. We were driving downtown in a clear highway. Away from people, away from the suffocating crowd.

It was the premiere night of our new romance comedy movie. After the premiere night there is a party but we went out early. We would always choose to have a late night stroll. Driving random street, stopping on random shops and eating ramdom foods we will find along the way. It is always fun.

You know, after busy days of shooting, tv guesting, mall tours and promotions a time like this is what we really needed. A time for ourselves, a time to just breath, a time just for us - no one else but us. Don't get me wrong, I super love being an actress and I love acting. But I always look forward to time for myself, where I could just be me without the crowds, the camera and paparazzi. Just me. Well, and Axe.

"I don't mind spending everyday out in the corner in the pouring rain, look for the girl with a broken smile. Ask her if she wanna stay a while. And she will be love.." Axel and I were singing together. We were singing, laughing and enjoying the night breeze together as we drive along the highway. I rose on my feet, helding my arms up to feel the fast breeze.

"Come on sing with me," I said, raising one hand in my lips as if I'm holding a microphone in front of the crowd. "And she will be looove. And she will be loo- aa- ve.. "

Those journeys you wish will never end, where the destination is not as important as the road your taking. I wished, for this is one of those.

I'd love to go some more. And though I'm afraid of where the road will lead me, I couldn't care less as long as I have Axe to enjoy this flight with me.

"What are you doing?" Axel asked me.

"Connecting the dots." I answered as I point to one star connecting it to the other.

After a fun stroll, we just heard our stomach growling. I remembered that we barely eat anything since the premiere night up to the party. We have been to a party but we weren't able to eat. We've been busy greeting guest and chatting with different personalities in the industry. It was a vibrant party, a good one but at the end of each day, we would always prefer these moments.

The time we felt our hunger, we made a stop in a kiosk just beside the street. It already been a habit to us to eat on whatever store that comes along the way, whether it is street food, a kitchenette, fastfood or a not so fancy restaurant. We still get to savor the moment anywhere we may be.

For tonight, we ended up in a kiosk that sells freshly cooked noodles, hot lugaw,  siomai and barbeques. We ordered hot noodles in vegetable and bone marrow soup. Eggs on top. Just a little bit of lemon, fried garlic and chili oil and it is all good. Along with it we ordered siomai. It is a version of dumplings with minced meat inside, seasonings. It was graciously steamed. I choose to have a shark fin siomai. Hmm, daalicious! And for drinks..

"What do you want?" I asked Axe. "Water or softdrinks."

"Softdrinks."

"Coke or pepsi?"
