"Do I really have to be there?"
"Of course, you should be there."
"Mamita, I don't want. I have a lot of things to do."
"Come on Lev, don't be so hard headed."
"Mamita, you can handle it. You know I'm not the social type."
"I can't believe someone can be a psychologist and a people hater at the same time. And what's worst is that, I can't believe I hired you. I must be insane."
"It is simply because I'm a great psychologist and I'm good with kids."
"Whatever. Now will you stop acting like a kid and be a grown up. Stop giving me a hard time!"
"You are the one that is giving me a hard time. Mamita, please, spare me. Besides it is your idea."
"Well, you are right. And my idea is that you will go with me no matter what! No ifs no buts." With that she grab my earlobes and drag me out of my office.
"Mamita, awww." And I know the argument is over. And as usual, I lose. "Take it easy, my ear."
"Shut up, will you?"
"You are too strong for an old woman!"
"Sorry to dissapoint you, little boy."
"Aww, aww. Okay okay. I will go with you. You can let go of my ear now."
I can't believe that at my age Mamita is still dragging me by my ear. She finally let go. I feel it all red and hot after she pulled it so hard.
"Come on." Mamita said pushing me.
"Do I really have to do this?" I asked again.
"Not again," Mamita rolled her eyes and attempted to grab my ear again.
"Nonono -- " I said as I try to move away, covering my ear.
"They are here!" I heard the voice of Lena.
I was in my attempt to escape with my hands on my ear when Lena approached. Mamita and I paused as she came nearer. We composed ourselves as if nothing happening. You could have imagined the scene. At Lena's back is a group of eight people. Coming from behind is a face that looked so familiar with me. Someone I had been thinking about the past days, I had been wishing to see again.
I froze in my place with eyes wide in surprise as she came closer - the angel.
"Ahehhe.." That was Lena in her awkward self. "This is Mamita." She said towards the a guy in black shirt and black cap. He is a little bit stout.
"I'm Ellie from Big Pictures Production, it is a pleasure meeting you." He said offering a hand. "And this are.. "
I didn' hear anything that follows because my eyes is fixed on one particular lady in that crowd.
"Levi.." I feel an elbow at the side of my ribs. "Levi!" The voice spoke louder.
"Huh?" I asked confused.
"Will you compose yourself?" That was Mamita babbling at me.
I looked at my front. There was Clio extending her hands to me.
"Hi Levi." She said softly.
"Hi Clio," I finally responded. Levi to earth! I grab her hands. "Nice to see you again."
