Chapter 6: A Peaceful Night In

Uggghhhh why is the sun still up?? It's almost midnight! I rubbed my eyes and looked over at my clock, it was 10 AM! Oh man, I must have fell asleep last night after I laid down...wow. My stomach growled really loud and it woke up Ace. I was so hungry so I went downstairs and cooked eggs for breakfast.

Brad's POV

I can't stop thinking about Carrie. The way she looked last night in that dress. Actually, the way she looked all the time was mesmerizing. She probably looks even more beautiful without the makeup or the fancy dresses...last night went really well. I was so worried she wasn't going to like it. I don't know why I was so nervous..I didn't even think about kissing her on the cheek last night, it just happened. I'm lucky she didn't turn away. Does that mean she liked it? She seemed to really enjoy the date.

I'm glad I got to know her better, we have so much in common it's like she was made for me! I definitely want to ask her out...I just don't know when. Would she say yes? What if she's not into me as much as it seems? What if she was just being friendly? I guess it's worth a shot. I really really like her and I can't let a little doubt ruin what we could possibly be.

I paced around the house. Man, I was hungry. I decided to cook lunch and sit down and watch a little bit of TV. I really wanted to hang out with Carrie again. Since we both don't have plans today, maybe she'd want to hang out again. I guess I'll call her!

*Riiiiiiiinnnnnnng*

Carrie: Hi...

Brad: Hi Carrie!

I could tell she knew it was me. I knew by the way she said hi that she had a smile on her face.

Carrie: How are you?

Brad: I'm great! How are you? How did you sleep last night?

Carrie: I'm pretty great too and I slept well! I came home last night, laid on my bed, and I passed out! I woke up this morning thinking it was almost midnight. Then I realized it was actually 10 in the morning, haha!

Brad: Haha, how funny!! I was wondering if you wanted to hang out tonight...since neither of us have plans?

Carrie: Definitely! I have nothing going on today. It'd be nice to spend time with someone I can actually have a conversation with. It's only a one way conversation with me and Ace haha!!

Brad: Haha, that's true! Alright, so do you want me to come over to your house that way you don't have to drive over here? We can rent some movies or something!

Carrie: That sounds perfect! Let's do that.

Brad: Alright, I'll be over soon. I'll text you when I'm on my way.

Carrie: Okay see you soon, Brad!

Brad: Bye!

Carrie: Bye now!

I can't wait to go to Carrie's! I know it's only been a day since I've seen her but I can't go a minute without being with her. I hope she's as excited as I am.

Carrie's POV

Yay! Brad is coming over. I'm beyond excited! I wonder if he's as excited as me! Hey Ace, Brad is coming over! Get ready! I looked around to see if I needed to clean anything up. I put a few dishes away but everything else was neat and tidy. What should I wear? I'm really lazy tonight. I hope he won't mind me lounging around in my sweats. What if he thinks I'm ugly?? Oh well, I'm at the point where I don't care anymore! If he really likes me he won't mind. After all, you can't expect me to be dressed up like I'm walking the red carpet when I'm just watching a movie on the sofa at home..haha!
