Chapter 27: A Friendly Outing

Carrie's POV

Carrie: I am just so excited for this duet and for this next record. You know what would make me even happier?

Brad: Haha what?

Carrie: If they would let you duet with me on MY upcoming album!

Brad: That would be absolutely amazing and twice the fun!

He smiled at me.

Carrie: And you know what would be even cooler?

Miranda & Brad: What?

Carrie: Miranda, if we did a duet together on the next album!

Miranda: Oh my gosh, are you serious? That would be SO much fun! Why didn't we ever think of this before??

Carrie: I have no idea! We could do the best duet!

Miranda: We have to do it!

Carrie: Alright, it's official. Next time I'm at the label I'll run it by them and see what they think!

We were all just full of giggles and smiles. The night was going so great. We ordered our food, received it, ate it, and left. I left a $20 tip on the table hoping it would make the waiter's night. He deserved it after all. The restaurant was on a strip with other little eateries and shops all around and their lights lit up the street. There were also twinkling lights outlining the shop windows and porches of the restaurants. It was almost a scene right out of a romantic movie. We walked down the street and peered into the windows of the shops, pointing out cute dresses and shoes. We were such girls. Brad on the other hand was not amused! I playfully punched him in the chest.

Carrie: What's the matter, babe?

Brad: Is this what shopping is like with the two of you?

Carrie: Yep!

Brad: Well whenever you both decide to go shopping, don't invite me! Hahaha!

We all started to laugh.

Carrie: I won't invite you. I'll just drag you with me.

I formed a payful smile.

Brad: Nuh uh!

Brad tackled me and we spun around a couple times until we both stopped and looked each other in the eyes.

Miranda: Moving on, lovebirds!

We began walking when Miranda and I saw the cutest little store.

Miranda: Oh my gosh this store looks so cute! Let's go inside!

Carrie: I was just about to say the same thing!

Brad: I ain't joining you guys on this one.

He laughed!

I grabbed his arm and pulled him into the store.

Carrie: You'll come in here if you really love me.

I winked at him. I was kidding.....partially! I picked up a pair of nude colored heels. They were very simple and plain. They could match with any of my dresses!

Carrie: Oooo Miranda, look at these!

Miranda: Those are so cute, you have to get them!
