{Brad's POV}

Brad: What in the world is that?!?!

Both of our mouths were agape. The cover of the magazine read "BRAD PAISLEY & CARRIE UNDERWOOD BEING SUED?!"

Carrie: Is this another rumor that some pathetic person made up about us to get money?! I'm pretty sure we aren't being sued!

This is outrageous. I'm happy that usually rumors aren't spread about us but when they actually happen they are so stupid!

Brad: I can't believe this!

I glared at the man behind the stand. There was no picture of us on the cover of the magazine so he didn't recognize us, thankfully. I picked up one of the magazines.

Brad: How are you selling these?!

I yelled at him.

Man: Well, it's my job.

Brad: Why are you selling these books of lies?!

Man: Listen here, buddy. I don't choose what I sell. That's my boss' job. If you want to talk to someone about it then take it up with him! He makes all the decisions! I'm just the dang salesman!

The man started to get angry. He couldn't get any more angry than I was though. I grabbed all the magazines in one swipe and sprinted down the street, throwing them all in a giant trash bin. The man called after me.

Man: HEY BUD! YOU BETTER GET BACK HERE WITH THOSE!

I kept running until I turned the corner. I peeped around to see Carrie running towards me. Carrie started yelling at me quietly.

Carrie: Brad!! What in the world were you thinking?! That man could've called the cops on you just now!!

Brad: What do you mean what was I thinking?! This is outrageous!! The people of that magazine are using us and publishing LIES about us so they can get their greedy little hands on MONEY! I refuse to be used as a way for people who don't even know us to get money!

Carrie: Brad, we can handle this in a much more calm manner. If people see you yelling and throwing a fit like you are right now, it's gonna be all over the magazines that you have anger problems and it's gonna be partially true for once! Now stop it!

I took a deep breath. She was right.

Brad: I'm sorry, you're right. This is just so uneccesary. Why do people think they can just use us?! We are humans with feelings!

Carrie: I don't know. We need to take some time and figure out a reasonable way to go about this situation.

She always knew what to say to keep me from exploding. This is why we make a great pair! I'm never angry but when things happen that I take personally, it gets me fired up. We walked a couple blocks until we came across another magazine stand. They were everywhere. Keeping my cool, I bought the magazine with the rumor about us to see what it had to say. I looked at it as I walked away. I read what was underneath the title.

Brad: "Turn to page 17 for the details".

I read out loud. I flipped through the magazine until I found page 17 and began to read. I mumbled some words out loud because it was just a bunch of ramble.

Brad: "Shannon Claire is suing country stars Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood for stealing the lyrics to her original song for their new song titled "Oh Love"." WHAT?! Are you serious?! Who the heck is Shannon Claire?! The song has been on the radio for a day! A DAY!!! And this is already happening? This is ridiculous!

{Carrie's POV}

Brad angrily threw the magazine on the ground and stomped away. I picked up the magazine and turned around to follow him back to the car. This whole thing is so ridiculous but he's practically publically humiliating himself! He needs to calm down. I saw him get in the car, slamming the door. I hurried to get inside. I got in and closed the door and he immediately started the car and we drove away. After five minutes of silence I asked him about the situation.

Carrie: When did you guys write the song?

Brad: Oh Love?

Carrie: Yes. Who wrote it and when was it written?

Brad: Tommy and I wrote it together. We've been writing it for about 6 months. Why?

Carrie: Did you guys take the lyrics from that woman's song?

Brad: No! Why would I ever do that?! Do you think we actually stole this lady's lyrics?

Carrie: Well I'm not saying you're guilty but we never know...I'm just asking. If you say you guys didn't steal the lyrics then I believe you. If you guys didn't take the lyrics then there's only two other things it could be. Either the 'stealing' is a couple lines or something, that somehow coincidentally was the exact same as hers, or she is just crazy and she's making this whole thing up for absolutely no reason.

Brad: I don't see why the public was notified about this before we were even notified of it. It's really messed up when we have to find out things about ourselves from other people.

Carrie: I know...I'm still speechless about this.

Brad: And I can't believe they brought you into this. You didn't even write the song...you only did a duet with me on it.

Carrie: I don't think they know that though. People just assume that those singing the song are the ones who wrote it but that's not always the case. They don't get that.

Brad: You're right. Don't worry, we are gonna get this cleared up and this lady is going to pay for the lies she's making up. Nobody messes with Paisleywood!

Paisleywood? A combination of our last names? That is seriously so cute and adorable! I can't believe he just said that! Why didn't I think of that? I'm the cutesy one in this relationship! I bit my lip. Brad was seriously the cutest boyfriend ever! Suddenly my mood lightened. We pulled up to the house and went inside. Brad immediately flopped onto the couch and called Malcolm.

Brad: Malcolm?

Malcolm: Hey Brad, what's up?

Brad: Carrie and I were walking downtown tonight and we passed a magazine stand. There was a magazine that had an article in it about Carrie and I being sued by some girl for stealing lyrics from her original song for Oh Love!

Malcolm: Are you kidding? I have received no word of this! The song has only been on the radio for a day though! How did this all happen in less than 24 hours?!

Brad: That's exactly what I said! I have no idea how this came about!

Malcolm: Did the article say what the woman's name was?

Brad: Yeah, her name was Shannon Claire.

Malcolm: Sh-Shannon? Shannon Claire?

Brad: Yes! Shannon Claire!

Malcolm: Oh. No. No no no no no!
