Chapter 34: It's Six in the Morning

*Carrie's POV*

 *RIIIIIIIIIIIIING*

I groaned, rolled over and sleepily picked up the phone.

Carrie: Hello?

Malcolm: GOOD NEWS, CARRIE!

Carrie: Ugh Malcolm...it's 6 in the morning....

Malcolm: Did I wake you? I'm sorry. I think this will be worth waking you up early!

Carrie: What is this "good news"? 

I asked rudely because I was not happy about being woken up.

Malcolm: The lawsuit has been dropped!

My eyes widened.

Carrie: YOU'RE KIDDING!

I quietly yelled trying not to wake Brad up.

Malcolm: Nope. 

Carrie: How did you do it? 

Malcolm: I personally talked to her over the phone, one on one, and used my charm of course.

I made a 'pffft' noise. Charm? What charm?

Carrie: Yeah, okay.

I told him sarcastically.

Malcolm: Anyways, it's been dropped and you won't need to worry about it anymore.

Carrie: That's the best news I've heard in a while!

Malcolm: Where is Brad?

Carrie: He's asleep next to me.

Malcolm: Be sure to tell him the news when he wakes up.

Carrie: Will do! Thank you so much, Malcolm! Goodbye now.

I hung up the phone. I feel like the weight of the world has been lifted from my shoulders! I have been stressing out about this since we saw the magazine. People think being a celebrity is the most amazing thing. Don't get me wrong, I don't regret anything that's put me where I am now. I am so grateful for everything in my life....but it's things like this that just....I don't know how to describe it. It just sucks sometimes. I'm not sure if I should wake Brad up to tell him. We were out late last night and he just looks so peaceful sleeping. I leaned over and kissed him on the forehead. I whispered.

Carrie: I love you...

He moved slightly and slowly opened his eyes to see me leaning over him. 

Brad: Hi beautiful.

He told me with a sleepy smile. I smiled at him. 

Carrie: I have good news.

Brad: Oh yeah? 

Carrie: Yeah...

I brought my hand to his face and rubbed my thumb across his cheek.

Carrie: Malcolm called me and the lawsuit's been dropped.

Brad sprung up.

Brad: You're kidding!?!

Carrie: NO!!

Brad: This is so great!! 

Carrie: I know! We don't have to worry about it anymore!!

Brad fell back onto the bed. He was so ecstatic!

Brad: We should celebrate!

I laughed.

Carrie: Oh yeah? How?

Brad:  I don't know! I say we take a spontaneous trip to Disney World?

Carrie: WHAT!!

Brad: You heard me!!

Carrie: AHHH BRAD! YES! YES! YES!

DISNEY WORLD!! I have never been. I'M SO EXCITED!

Carrie: Can we PLEASE?!

Brad laughed at me.

Brad: I'll go look online now!

He got up and walked out of the room. The laptop was downstairs. I got up off the bed and began to dance. I couldn't stop smiling! WE'RE GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!!

Hello! I'm sorry I haven't written in a while. I think I'm finally over writer's block. I'm gonna try to write every once in a while when I have free time just like old times! Sorry this chapter is so short. It is a transition chapter!
