^^^^^^^^^ that's my best friend casually standing in the corner of shame. But anyways, I have been having kind of a hard week, and I'm sad. :) but I'm updating just for you guys ❤️ THIS IS HOW MUCH I CARE ABOUT YOU PEOPLE OF THE INTERNET. And also, it will take me longer to update these days, because of personal things, but I will try to update as much as I can! (Because I now have a crush, and I haven't in like since I started this series, so now I have another priority, kill me)

Chat climbed through the small trap door and smiled at Marinette. "I missed you."
"You only saw me yesterday."
"I know. One day too long."
"You don't stop your flirtatious sayings, do you, Adrien?"
Chat flinched and looked the other way, "Don't say my name while I have this mask on. I'm a different person," He whispered, yet internally screamed, leaning down next to her face and smirking, "And besides, I don't want to have my identity revealed to the entire city, from how loud you are."
"All they can do is throw you in jail for a little while. That's even if they care. It's not like you've been outside for a while, in the suit that is," Marinette said as she walked into the corner of her room where she usually sat to read, but was currently working on her fashion homework and doodling.
"But still, it's not very lady like of you if you don't respect someone's wishes," Chat said sitting in front of her, she not noticing and still drawing in her notebook.
"My lady, what are you drawing?" He asked, trying to grab the notebook from her, but she held it behind her back as she stood up and walked the other way.
"N-Nothing!" She stammered.
Chat easily cornered her in they same corner she was in before, and took it from her hands, "You need to stop trying to keep hiding things from me," he smirked , "You haven't been very good at it lately if you haven't noticed, Marinette."
"Well you haven't either. I know that you're Adrien."
"I told you that I was him though," he turned the first few pages in the book as Marinette blushed and tried to get it back from him.
"Adrien," Chat frowned at the sound of the name he was given when he was young, "I've had my suspicions for a little while, you aren't as slick as you think you are." She grabbed the book in the process, making sure he didn't see the page that she didn't want him to.
"What are you trying to hide from me?" He said smirking yet again.
"It's nothing."
"You're a terrible liar."
"That's rude."
"It's so true."
Marinette sighed as she put the notebook in her backpack and turned around to face Chat, "What made you come over anyways, Chat?"
"I wanted to see you."
"I don't believe you. I think," she said putting her finger on his chest, leaning it against him, "That you're keeping something from me."
Did she already find out about my engagement? Chat pushed her hand off of his chest, losing a smile. She was kidding at first, but now had suspicion. "Chat?"
"I'm not keeping anything from you," he said slightly shakily and turned away from her. When she wasn't looking, Chat took the notebook out of the bag without looking and hid it behind his back, "Promise."
Marinette's smile grew back instantly, as reassurance slightly hit her, "Okay, I trust you," she gave Chat a small peck on the lips before saying she had to go see Alya and went out the door, leaving Chat behind in her room.
He sighed as his Miraculous was purposely taken out, turning him back to the youngest Agreste.
"You need to tell her, she'll feel worse if you don't," Plagg said while looking around the pink room.
"Shut up, Plagg," he said frustratedly. He wanted to tell her, but he just doesn't want to hurt her at all. He grabbed a pen off of a dresser and wrote a small note.
Seem familiar?
Do the familiar.
