Marinette sat on the cold park bench as she waited for Chat. Just because they are together now, doesn't mean that things are going to change like people think it will. Her phone chimed, alerting a notification. It was on the news now. No videos have been taken, no way of knowing it was them. Marinette smiled when she saw the chaos in the background scene as the mayor was trying to sort out with the camera man that he didn't want to be filmed. She had just gotten back from an entire day with Ayla, and now she was tired of being asked stupid questions about Chat.

It was nearing seven, and she pulled her hair out of the pigtails and ran her fingers through it. She looked up wearily to see a strange person looking at her through the small bit of trees next to the buildings, more like behind the building. She couldn't identify the small person, but it was obviously a young, maybe seven or eight year old boy. The kid had bright white hair, almost like it was white like paper. His hair isn't like any other boys' in Paris, it wasn't proper, but extremely short and shaggy. He had onyx (only the prettiest shade of black) eyes, and was wearing what looked like a little more than peasant clothing. Like a ripped school uniform, and shorts that used to be jeans. He had no shoes, and was very thin if she had looked closer. He also had the most strange thing on his shoulder.

"A dove?" Marinette said as she saw him disappear from behind the building. She started to walk towards the boy, when her arm was grabbed. She started to struggle, forgetting that she was meeting her boyfriend at this location, and only top priority being that small child and where he came from and why he was watching her. Does he know?

"Woah, Mari, what are you doing?" Chat said to her, leaning down to her form in a tree, which she was pulling him out of with her struggling, but because of his cat like balance, he had nothing to fear. She finally turned around to be facing the boy she loved. His grin appeared when she looked at him, then smiled.

"Hi, sorry," she said putting her hands behind her back and cringing at what she had just done.

"What were you doing, did you think I was going to hurt you? I am a cat burglar"-- she rolled her eyes-- "but I'm no kidnapper, sweetheart," he said confidently. She laughed at the nickname, but then remembered the boy and stopped.

"Someone was watching me. I don't know who, and I think it's probably nothing, but what if someone knows about the miraculous thing?" She said gripping his shoulders. He had on a confused face and tried to make since of what she was saying. He looked behind her.

"No one is behind you, Mari. You're fine, look," he said and turned her around with her shoulders. She frowned.

"He had already left though, when I had caught him staring at me. He went and came from behind one of those buildings over there," she said with hesitation, "He was small, little, probably just a curious kid, but he also looked like he was going to die. He didn't look normal, he looked like he was homeless or something. He didn't wear anything good on, he had a bad hair cut, and moved slowly. Shouldn't we check to be sure he is okay?" She said looking Chat straight in the eyes, like she would die if they didn't find the kid.

I need to tell her Chat thought as he said okay.

"We have to go fast, but he went this way!" she said already sprinting. He quickly caught up, but just happened to stop looking for the kid, and more look for another way to tell her, and he couldn't find it.
