"Hi Marinette. Happy to see you again." Dove was in the middle of her school's hallway. She found it odd that he just appeared there, and also odd how no one else was looking at him.

Also people can walk right through him, so that was a little weird too.

"Hi, Dove. What brings you here, at my school, during passing period, and not at your own school?" He had his pet dove on his shoulder next to him, and it was dead staring at her. It freaked her out a bit.

"Didn't you realize that I don't go to school?" He said, looking at her like she was the biggest idiot he's ever seen. "I don't need it- I'm smart because of my father."

"How old are you? Seven? Eight? Maybe, nine? You should be in school, kid. I'm in school and I'm almost sixteen." Marinette opened her locker, remembering she had to get a book out for her next class.

Dove just laughed. He was able to steal a girl's water right out of her backpack without even looking and he took a sip of it. "I'm seven and a half, you know. But I don't need to go to school, my father was good at making things in his lab so that I learn quicker. Everything in life is pretty simple after that."

Marinette closed her locker after getting her textbook, "what are you?"

Dove shruged. "What are you?"

"Human."

"So am I."

"Are you made in a lab or something?"

"You want the truth, Marinette?"

"Of course."

"I honestly have no clue." She was silent for a moment. Then smirked.

"So you don't know everything."

"Just because I don't know everything doesn't mean that I'm not smart. The only thing I do know for sure, is that I found your little pretty boy first, and you that lose."

I'm just gonna say: wasn't it kinda obvious that Dove's father was Hawkmoth? I mean I thought that you guys had already figured it out, but never mind I guess it was just me. I'm not being rude, or saying that you're stupid or anything like that. I'm just saying I thought you guys already knew.

But whatever, right?
