~~~~~~~~~~~
They looked for a long time, they didn't even know that it was two hours later. Adrien, who had turned back to himself a while ago, kept suggesting to stop looking, but she instisted to keep looking. Marinette didn't even know why she wanted to find him, she just felt like she needed to. THat it was her responsibility to do this for him. She didn't even know that kid's name, and all she knew was that he had a pet bird.
Adrien had given up looking and just followed Marinette wherever she went. Barely anyone was out in this side of Paris, and the only sounds were from the wind that was blowing loudly at them. They didn't know, but the boy was actually following them the entire time. Behind them, turning every corner behind them. They were totally oblivious.
It was cold, and Marinette wasn't prepared for the weather, or Adrien's constant nagging. He still was loyal to her, and would never leave her alone in a road and go home, but the one thing he didn't want to do was be here right now.
She stopped looking for a minute, she sat down on the curb and shook her head. She was sitting there for a while. Adrien sat down next to her. They didn't have to say anything, Adrien knew it would make her irritated or tell him that he could go home if he said to go. He just put his arm around her shoulders and let her lean her head into his shoulder. They just stayed like that. Marinette was about to drift asleep, when Adrien poked her by the shoulder.
"Mari."
"Huh?"
"I love you, but I have some bad news that I was trying to tell you earlier." Marinette sat up and looked Adrien in the eyes.
"I have to tell you that I'm going to mar--"
That's when she heard a slight noise from a small garbage can behind them. The boy had tripped over the trash can and was laying on the pavement. He looked up and met Marinette's gaze. He got on his knees. The boy, with his onyx eyes was staring back at her and Adrien. He fully got up and ran to where he was coming from. Marinette jumped immediately and ran after the boy, almost five feet behind him constantly. Adrien was following, but he was a little behind Marinette.
They had ended up going into a small apartment building, because the boy was running into it. It seemed abandoned, because no one was there, and there was no furniture whatsoever. The boy was getting faster, and he ran into an open doored room. Marinette ran into it behind him, happier that she had cornered him, but when she got inside, he was gone.
She looked around in shock. There wasn't anything to hide behind, so she looked behind the door, but he still wasn't there. The room was quite big, like a suite. Adrien had stopped at the stairs, out of breath and a little tired of caring. Marinette stood in the middle of the room, looking in every direction, until she heard the door close.
Her head jerked to the direction of the old squeaky door, where there stood a boy, but she wasn't sure it was the same kid.
He had light blue hair with multiple streaks of white in it, and it was definitely groomed and much neater than before. His eyes were now an extremely new shade of bright blue, brighter than his hair. His badly worn and torn uniform was now into a proper perfect looking uniform, just a black blazer over a white t-shirt and a dark blue tie. The blue tie was straight in center, and was tied perfectly up to his neck. His shorts were now dark blue, the same color of his tie, and a little longer than before. His high knee socks were perfectly even on either leg, and his shoes were perfectly black and didn't have even a piece of lint on it. He looked proper and was sating straight at Marinette.
Marinette was taken by surprise. She had fallen down, because she wasn't prepared to turn so heavily at the door closing. The boy had a cold and black face. Marinette tried to speak, "Hel--"
"Ladybug," he said with no emotion. He was little, so he had a small high pitched voice, but was still kind of scary. He sounded like a monotone little robot. Plus, he knew that she was Ladybug, which scared her even more. We all know that kids love to tattle.
"My mommy and daddy sent me. They told me you were a bad person. You are indeed. I wasn't sure until I saw the news a few days ago. It says you are wanted. Do you know what you've done?" He said with little to no change in tone.
She refused to answer the question, asking, "What's your name? Who are your parents? Where are your parents?" She didn't hesitate to stand back up again, but she didn't move an inch towards the boy.
"My name is Dove. My parents are none of your concern. And they are located in a mental hospital, and a cemetery if that answers your question. They have been located there for years," the boy was looking down, but not changing expression, like he wasn't think about what he was saying, but knowing everything at the same time, "I visited my father everyday, until they said he was too crazy to see anymore. But I believe that Crazy is equal to Genius, so I can't argue with him. They took my home. They didn't know who I was." With that, he moved his hand slightly upwards, and Marinette was pushed back roughly against the wall of the other side, all caused by a surprisingly violent gust of wind coming from the boys direction. His hair moved slightly, then went back to the same perfect position of fringe on his forehead.
"Daddy said you were a bad person the day before I couldn't see him again," Dove said walking, forward slowly, "One day, mommy and daddy were driving to a coffee shop while I stayed home. The doctor said it was a bad person who hit thier car with ours. It cracked my daddy's skull, and hurt his brain, and made mommy go to sleep forever," Dove stopped in front of Marinette's now bleeding face. Her nose was hurt. She could hear knocking on the door, from Adrien probably.
"I will destroy all bad people that my daddy told me to. He told me about how the thieves and the killers have to be destroyed. He told me about how the Agresté family killed my mommy and took the house away. I have been watching you, you aren't as bad as I thought, but still are a thief and with Adrien Agresté, and a bad enough person to destroy. So I suggest you watch your back."
He opened the door and surprised Adrien with wind. When he realized what was happening, Adrien followed him, and Dove had jumped out a window on the lobby. He could basically fly by using wind beneath his feet. As he landed on the ground, Adrien could see his appearance change, back to his peasant looking self. He looked up to Adrien with this new look and then looked to the dove that landed onto his shoulder. He walked away.
