Maki and Nico got back to their own classrooms.
Maki sighed as she sat on her seat. "Should I have to say it to her? Maybe I have to..." Maki thought.
Hanayo noticed Maki's drawn, worried face. "Maki-chan seems not good. Should we talk to her?" Hanayo said, looking at Rin.
Rin looked back at Hanayo, then at Maki. "There's no need to, nya. If we talk to her, it'll just feel like we're bothering her. Maybe she's thinking about something. Let's give her some time."
Hanayo sighed and nodded. "O-okay, I'm just worried about her."
Their teacher soon entered and began the class. Maki didn't notice; she was just staring out the window, deep in thought.
"Nishikino-san."
"Nishikino-san!"
"Nishikino Maki-san!" her teacher called out.
Maki flinched and quickly stood up. Her classmates stared at her, but Maki just looked back at the teacher. She looked away for a second and scratched her cheek with her index finger.
'I didn't even notice the teacher was here already.' She thought.
"Answer this," her teacher said with a frown, pointing at the blackboard.
Maki walked to the board, took the chalk, and answered the math problem. She was never wrong, so the answer was correct.
"That's good. You may take your seat now, Nishikino-san, and please don't space out in my class again" Her teacher concluded.
(3RD YEAR TRIO)
Nico bent over, hands on her knees, panting. "This is so hard! I can't even keep up with that woman, she's crazy!" She collapsed onto the grass field with Eli sitting beside her.
Nozomi chuckled, sitting between Eli and Nico. "Don't mind~ You can do better next time, Nicochii," Nozomi said, reaching a drink to Nico.
"Not like I care, but thanks," Nico replied, taking the water and drinking it.
"You're trying hard, and this is just running for our Physical Education" the blondie said, resting her hands behind her on the grass.
"No excuses!" Nico pouted.
(1ST YEAR TRIO)
After their Math subject, the teacher asked Maki, Rin, and Hanayo to bring her paperwork to the teacher's office.
While walking down the hallway, Hanayo looked out the window at the school's backyard and saw the 3rd year trio. "Is that Eli-chan, Nozomi-chan, and Nico-chan?"
"Where, nya?" Rin asked with excitement.
Hanayo pointed at them, then walked closer to Maki. "I think Maki-chan has something to say to them, or maybe just to Nico-chan," Hanayo whispered to Rin while glancing at Maki.
"How can you say that, nya?" Rin whispered back, looking at the redhead.
"Look at her face."
Maki looked at Rin and Hanayo, tilting her head. Rin and Hanayo quickly snapped their focus back to the window.
"What are you two talking about? Is it about me?" Maki asked, raising an eyebrow.
Rin suddenly felt nervous, beads of sweat forming. "N-No, it's about Misaki-san, not you, nya!" Rin lied quickly.
