Imagine #1 Stefan and Klaus

You cheat on Klaus with Stefan-Part Two. (Continuation of Imagine #123 on book 1).

Your hands fell to the wall as you dragged yourself onto the floor, your eyes closed as you heard Klaus beat Stefan mercilessly. Klaus was stronger than him anyway, but with the rage he was feeling, you knew Stefan's pain must have been excruciating. You looked at him softly, your eyes watering slightly as you saw Stefan groaning.

"Enough", you said, pushing Klaus away.

" It is not enough", he screamed. You winced, but put your hands on his chest to calm him down.

"Go", you said to Stefan, who looked at you softly, before seeing your pleading eyes and flashing away. Klaus started tearing up the room, breaking lamps, pictures, anything to distract himself from the heartache he was experiencing. " What difference is that going to make?", you said softly.

"What else am I supposed go do Y/N? We have been together for a millennium. I have always been faithful. I loved you! Stefan Salvatore? And in our bed? You said I could always trust you, that we would always be solid, no matter how shaky everyone and everything else was. And you threw it all away, for what? A fling?", he said, his eyes sparkling with stubborn tears.

You were so confused. You felt something for Stefan, you couldn't deny it. But you also couldn't deny anything Klaus was saying. He was always faithful, loving. He had his flaws, but you loved him, and you hated seeing him in pain. So without really thinking, you grabbed his T-shirt, pulling him down to met your lips. He pulled away roughly, before cupping your face in your hands and leaning his forehead on yours. And looking breathlessly into his eyes, you knew he was your one. You true love. Him, and only him.

" I'm so sorry", you whispered, stroking his hair with your fingers.

"I thought we were stronger than this. I never thought cheating would be an issue", he said, pulling away and looked at you sadly.

" Neither did I. I don't know what happened ", you said truthfully.

" I don't think I can look past this Y/N. I can't sleep in this room now, knowing he was here, with you. I can't pretend things are the same Y/N. Something told you to cheat. Something told you I wasn't enough", he said, his voice gruff.

And you knew he was right. But you didn't want him to be. You didn't want the last 1000 years to just end.

"I'm not ready to say goodbye", you whispered, hugging yourself as tears fell down your cheeks.

" You think I am?", he asked, his eyes looking at you with utter emptiness. He sighed heavily as he walked towards you. Your eyes closed as he kissed your tears softly away. "Be happy", he urged you, his voice heavy with the effort of remaining composed. He kissed your forehead, and flashed away before you could tell him he was your happiness. You were baffled that you hadn't realised that before it was too late.
