Imagine #48 Kol

He's in love with you, even though you're married to Elijah.

"What are you doing up?", you asked Kol quietly, as you poured yourself a glass of water.

" I don't sleep much", he shrugged.

"It's 5 in the morning", you stated.

" Why are you up?", he challenged.

"I had a nightmare", you shrugged.

" You okay?", he asked carefully.

"Fine, really", you assured him, as you sat on the kitchen countertop.

Kol looked at you. God, he loved you so much. You were so beautiful. Strong. Kind. And so nice to him, all the time. He hated that Elijah was the one that got to be with you. He knew he could love you so much more.
" Y/N?", he asked as he put his hands on the counter, on either side of your waist.

"Yeah?", you replied, taking another sip of water.

" If you're fine, why's your noise bleeding? It only bleeds when you're stressed", he reminded you. You put your hand on your noise, wiping the blood with your palm before Kol handed you a tissue.

"It wasn't the prettiest nightmare, but I'm fine. Figures that I'm the only freaking vampire that gets nosebleeds. God, it's so annoying", you said in irritation.

"Elijah didn't hear you waking?", Kol asked lightly.

" No. He would have fussed", you said, waving it off.

"Ok. So let's box it off", he said, straightening up as he out on a hoodie.

" Box it off at 5am?", you asked, an eyebrow raised.

"Yeah. Boxing is a great stress reliever. And as luck would have it, I'm a great pain in the ass, so it shouldn't be too difficult to have the desire to swing at me", he grinned, picking up the pads and holding them up.

You laughed lightly, putting on your gloves. You punched the pads roughly, trying to hit away your nightmares, your stress, your fear. When you stopped, you were out of breath and flushed.

" I knew you had it in you", Kol grinned. You smiled softly.

"Thank you Kol", you said gently. You went to take off your gloves, but Kol took them off for you. His hands rested on your waist and you stiffened. Kol's head lingered near your shoulder. " Kol. We can't ", you whispered. His eyes closed as he gripped your waist.

" I won't tell", he muttered, his voice pleading with you.

"Kol, that's not why. I love Elijah. I would never cheat. I don't love you that way", you whispered.

" Please", he said tiredly. Your hands grabbed his neck.

"You are an amazing person Kol Mikaelson. You're just not my amazing person. I am so sorry sweetheart", you said softly.

Your heart broke as a tear fell down his cheek. Then he stiffened before pulling away roughly.

" Don't... You don't have to push yourself away from me Kol", you said softly.

"That's not an option anymore Y/N", Kol said coldly. You opened your mouth, but he pushed past you, flashing away. You never saw him again.
