Imagine #84 Klaus

Your dog jumps all over him.

Walking a German Shepard was a taxing event on the best of days. But you loved your dog, and he loved to walk. So you were kind of rendered powerless to it.

He was usually pretty easy to tame, but on this particular day, he started dragging you with him, his heavy weight forcing you to follow. You tried to softly pull him back, but he growled, gearing up his pace until he reached a figure, jumping up, his paws landing on the figures chest.

"Oh my god! Get down!", you exclaimed, pulling your dog with such force that you fell on the grass. Unfortunately your dog was still on top of the stranger. You pulled him from your sitting position of the floor, hoping gravity would help you. You huffed until he dropped beside you. You tied him to the tree behind you, taking deep breaths.

" Miss, are you okay?", a rich voice said, holding his hand out.

You took it, standing up. Your eyes met those of an incredible handsome guy. Of course.

"Am I okay? I should be asking you that. I'm so so sorry. He's usually never like that", you said, apologetically and breathlessly.

" It's really not a problem", he said, his eyes flashing with what looked like amusement.

"Is something funny?", you asked, a defensive eyebrow raised. Klaus smiled as he looked away, trying to compose himself.

In all honesty, you looked like a mess. Your cheeks were flushed with the effort of trying to restrain the dog, your clothes were muddy from falling on your ass, and your hair was resembling a birds nest. Yet he still thought you looked beautiful.

" No. You just look a little...frazzled", he said softly.

"Of course I'm frazzled. I thought my dog was going to maul you! My heart is still racing", you told him, a hand resting softly on your chest.

He loved your spirit. You seemed to be bursting with energy. It was highly endearing to him.

" I'm honestly perfectly fine", he assured you. "I'm Niklaus", he said, holding a hand out.

" Y/N", you said in a relieved voice, as you took it.

"So is this how you meet guys Y/N? Set your vicious dog on them, making their life flash before their eyes?", he asked teasingly, a spark in his eyes.

"Yeah. I have it mastered to a tee. Before, I could make my cheeks go puce, now they're a nice tomato like colour. I'm really surprised you caught me out", you said sarcastically, feigning shock

He laughed lightly. It was a beautiful - no amazing really -sound. You were amazed at the actual longing you felt inside, the need to want to make him laugh forever.

You smiled at him softly. He blinked. Your smile was a dazzling sight.

"Do you want to go for a walk?", he asked you softly. You smiled wider.

" I'd love to. But I'll have to unleash the beast. Is that okay?", you asked softly, looking at your dog as you prayed it would be.

He leaned into you, his hand on your waist, his mouth lingering by your ear.

"I think I can handle it".
