Third Person's POV

Taking her things and shutting the door close of her own locker, Shannon ran her hand through her hair while going over her math homework. She sighed in content as she look towards her right and saw Troian sluggishly walking towards her locker with a messy bun while yawning.

She made her way towards Troian. "What's up, Troi?!" Shannon greeted her in a high spirit hoping it would somehow wake the other girl up.

"The birds." she said replying dully to Shannon. Troian stopped in front of her locker, opened it, before closing it again. Shannon watched the boring event happen in front of her as she saw Troian bang her head repeatedly to her own locker.

"What the hell's wrong with you today, Troi?" Shan pulled her away from the locker and straightened her up. She watch how Troian froze suddenly, her eyes darting towards someone at the other end of the hallway. Shannon followed her gaze and saw Alex Reiner, Troian's boyfriend, talking to another girl with an alluring smile visible on his face.

"Asshole" she heard Troian beside her, she turned her attention back to Troian with a curious face on.

Putting two into two she can't help but feel that there's something wrong between them.

"Is there something going o-" Shannon was cut off by Lucy popping beside them with Ashley on her side who was currently rummaging through her bag. Shannon let her eyes fall on the blonde and take in all her beauty.

"Hey guys! What's up?!" Lucy exclaimed cheerily looking both at Troian and Shannon.

Which in return, Troian replied again with a dull tone. "The sun." she said before getting away from the girls and heading to her biology class.

"What the hell's going on with Troi?" Lucy asked the same thing Shannon asked to Troian. Not wanting to get ahead to Troi, Shannon just shrugged her shoulders while breaking her gaze away from Ashley.

"Hey Shannon! You forgot your hoodie last night when we had a sleep over." Ashley handed Shay her hoodie their hands slightly brushing with each other which caused the brunette to smile. The past few days has been easy for them to cope up without getting too awkward. And as promised they never did once bring up the kiss again, which is a good thing maybe.

"Thanks" Shannon replied shyly.

Lucy who was on her phone at the moment, turned to them. "Uhm... I need to get going, Ian said we have to prepare for our project in English. Bye!" she waved us a goodbye while her small feet carry her towards the library.

"Right. Prepare for a project. Smooth move, Ian." Ashley said slightly nudging Shay's side.

"I didn't know they still make contact to each other after the break up?" I pointed out to her, dragging my own feet towards music class.

"They've been talking to each other for a while now. I'm not even surprised, even when they were a couple they were inseparable.  And every time I ask her what they're doing she dodges the question like its a disease. I know that she needs her privacy, but as her best friends we at least deserve to know right? I can't believe our own girl is keeping secrets from us." Ashley said walking with her. Shannon can't help but to agree more, thinking about Troian and Alex a while ago she only hopes that Troi is not hiding things from them.

"Yeah I agree. But its not like you don't keep any secrets, Ash" I mocked her silently laughing.

Ashley rolled her eyes at me changing the topic. "Hey, did you hear about the two new kids they're sophomores here. I heard they came from Miami. And somebody said they're really good at soccer." Ashley continued rambling on as Shay watch her.
