Shay's POV

"Just go to the doctor and stop being so stubborn!" Troian kept on bugging me, insisting for me to get to the hospital.

I frowned at her, not removing my gaze from my laptop and continuing the five page essay that our english teacher assigned us to do. "Troian, i swear to God if you don't stop talking i'm gonna smash my laptop into your face and trust me i'm gonna enjoy it." I said threatening her.

I watch from my peripheral vision as she advance toward me and force my laptop close making me glare at her.

"It's not even that bad! Stop being so dramatic." I stated.

Troian replied with frustration, "Not bad?! Oh so what you're just gonna wait until you collapse to the ground or have a seizure for you to go to the doctor?!"

I exhaled loudly, "You know what? Fine! Let's go to the doctor now." Deciding to let her win I let her go to the doctor with me so just she could stop annoying me with her bickering.

DOCTOR'S OFFICE

"Dr. Montgomery, could you please say to Shannon that refusing to go to the doctor and refusing to seek medical assistance is not an option." Troian said looking at me with her arms crossed over her chest.

I scoffed at her while the doctor asked me. "Is she your sister?"

"No, just someone I picked on the way here. Don't mind her she's just being annoying." I said, smirking at Troian.

"Well, sorry to say but she's right, you should've immediately approached the doctor when you first had the symptoms." She looked at me sternly as I shrug.

"I didn't think it was that bad, or that it needed much of an attention. I'm fine and let's just leave it at that." I reasoned out.

The doctor stood up from her place and walked to wards me. "Still, its not something to take lightly. According to what you said, I believe you're head was pretty beaten and also your spine, if the MRI showed a swelling in the brain you may need surgery. But for now, you need to rest for at least 2 weeks, don't strain yourself too much by doing heavy activities. And as much as possible avoid getting hit by anything, especially your head and back. I'm going to give you a prescription on what medicine to use so that the dizziness can subside. Make sure to take it thrice a week after you've eaten your breakfast." She handed me a piece of paper, with the desired prescription written on it. I shuddered when she said about me having the possibility to go to surgery..

I stood up and thanked her, as Troian and I head out for the door. "I'll update you on the results of the MRI once I have it. And if you ever feel anything bad again, call me" Dr. Montgomery said while giving me a smile.

I nodded, "Yes ma'am!"

When we got out of the building, Troian suggested that we stop at Taco Bell and order a take-out which I happily agreed to.

Finally, reaching the place I decided to let Troian order for me as I wait for her inside the car.

A few minutes later, I heard a tap on my window and as I look up I saw a grinning Sasha waving at me. I got out of the car as I greeted her with a hug.
