Chapter 22 - Jealous Rage and Confessions

Third-Person's POV

It was Thursday, one day away from the weekend, which got all the girls excited. Except for Ashley, who has a permanent scowl on her face that she's been wearing since the day Alexa landed here. Ashley noticed that Shay and Alexa had been spending the time together ever since Tuesday. Which greatly bothered the blonde because it seems like Shay is enjoying Alexa's company the more they spend their time together.

What is she still even doing here? She should've come back to Riverswind or whatever the hell she came from! Ashley thought as she watch the two, opposite of her direction, laughing, giggling and making jokes with each other.

Camila noticed the heated glare of Ashley to Alexa, knowing full well that the girls presence bothered her. She left the rest of the girls in their conversation as she take a seat beside Ashley.

"Hey." Camila said, wanting to make conversation.

Ashley responded, but not removing her eyes from the two. "Hey."

Camila sighed, this going to be harder than she thought. "Shouldn't you be excited? Instead of shooting daggers at Shay and Alexa? The weekend is coming and the girls are ecstatic, while you're here murdering your food." Camila gestured at Ashley, who was stabbing her mocha cake with a fork.

"Yeah. Whoopee." Ashley said sarcastically, which earned another sigh from the brunette beside her.

"Look at them! Giggling and smiling at each other like two kids in love." Ashley said, as she ferociously stab the cake, ruining the food even more.

Camila looked at the two and saw that they were simply having conversations, which she found nothing wrong to. "And how dare she touch her like that?! Only I can touch my Shannon and I-" Ashley froze when she realized what she just said.

She basically just confessed her feelings for Shannon to Camila, she mentally face-palmed herself as she close her mouth and look at the brown-eyed girl beside her who was now smirking.

"I knew it! You are in love with her and you're jealous that Alexa's been trying to get her attention since Tuesday. Well, that sounds awfully familiar." Camila laughed, as she find herself in the same position as Ashley.

Ashley immediately dropped her fork and grasped Camila's hand as she gave her a pleading look, "Please don't tell Shannon about this! I'd die if you tell her! Please don't tell anyone oh my god!" She whispered so that no one else but them could hear.

Camila elicited a giggle as she calmed Ashley down. "Relax Ashley! I'm not planning on telling Shay, or anyone for that matter."

Ashley thanked her silently, grateful for Camila. "You shouldn't really be worried though, Shay's just being friendly she's like that to everybody. And you shouldn't be worried at all about Shay liking Alexa, I don't think she's really her type." Camila looked back at the two, as she laugh at Alexa's poor attempt to flirt with Shannon.

"You think so?! You don't think she likes her? What do you think is her type?" Ashley asked, question by questions.

"No, I know so. And about that last question, I believe only you could answer that since you've been friends with her for years." Camila said, which got Ashley to think.
