I threw on my coat and buttoned it up before pulling on my scarf and bonnet, I picked up my bag and walked to the door where Teri was waiting for me, he locked in the door and we headed down the hall "so how was practice for you I can see you're moving better."

I looked up at him and smiled "Yeah I am and it's pretty good except all this late training is making me tired and I'm not really used to this kind of pressure."

He looked at me "Yeah don't worry you'll get used to it, it always gets like this when you're picked for the main performance, the directors and everyone will put more time on you so thus they expect more, but don't sweat it too much and don't stress yourself out it will get better with time." I nodded and opened the door letting him go out into the snow first, when I stepped outside I immediately shivered, he looked at me and smiled after locking the door "not one for the cold are you?" I shook my head "then England really isn't the best place for you."

I nodded "Yeah you're right I grew up in California where the son is always shining, well most of the time, and even if it get's cold it's not this bad. But when I got the offer to come out here and work with you guys I just couldn't see myself refusing it after all those years I had put into my training to achieve this."

We walked down the steps going to his White Fiat 500l "yeah well don't worry you'll get used to it and by the time you go back to California at the end of next year, you'll be able to dance in the snow naked." we both laughed and I let out a sneeze that had him gushing "that was so cute" I pouted and raised up my scarf bringing it to my no doubt pink nose "anyways it's time for me to head home before Drew starts ringing down my phone like the worry wart he is, do you want a lift?"

I shook my head "we're heading in opposite directions I don't want you to have to drive for an extra hour, I can always take the train."

He smiled and nodded "you're right, okay see you on Monday and don't forget to check out that website I told you about."

I nodded "I will see you on Monday." I turned and started walking while pulling down my bonnet, this place was way too cold for me, I couldn't wait to get home to my heated flat.

An hour later I walked in my door closing it in behind me making sure to lock the bolt, I stripped off my bonnet, scarf and coat dropping them all on the rack I had by the door, I flicked on all the lights as I went straight for the shower. Stripping down out of the rest of my clothes I stepped in the bathroom and turned on the tap letting the hot water hit my skin warming me as I let out a content sigh, this country was too cold for me and there were so many times where I was tempted to go home and quit my two year stay here, but I knew I couldn't do that, I'd be letting too many people down including myself.

I got out after showering and slipped on my warmest clothes, I walked into my bedroom drying my copper blonde hair that was styled in an undercut, I looked in the mirror at my lightly tanned skin and smiled when it was blemish-less. I walked out my room going to the kitchen to fry up some vegetables and eggs, before grabbing a cup of coco and going to my gold mac-book that sat in the living room.

I quickly put it on and went to Skype after checking the time it was nine in the night which meant mom and dad would be on already waiting for me, I smiled when the video came through, my mom was showing me her bright toothy smile as green eyes glistened with happiness "baby, hi how is everything going over there with the ballet company?" she said while her hand ran through her bubblegum pink hair messing it up.

"Its going great mom, we've been practicing and practicing and in three weeks the company is going to send you guys the tickets, so you can fly over and come to see my performance, I can't wait to see you mommy."
