Trip

Eleni stood braced against the wall in nothing but his hospital gown, shaking as he cried and begged the nurses not to touch him, one of the male nurses grabbed his arm and he screamed trying to get away, another took his other arm and tried to get him to bed but he kicked and screamed trying to get away from them "no please stop, stop touching me, I don't want to be touched, let me go!" the nurses were trying to get him to the bed when I just ran across the room to him pulling the nurses away from him. I grabbed him and pulled him into a hug he began to struggle until I held his face and forced him to look at me, as soon as his eyes made contact with mine he just froze with wide eyes, my heart was racing as I stared down at my baby boy "daddy?" it escaped his lips in a whisper and I nodded to him, he started to sob as he took a hold of my shirt, gripping it as he let out one painful sob after another.

"It's okay baby, I'm here, I'm right here and I'll never let you go."

Roman (2 month's later.)

I stood pointing my gun at Alain's head with a smirk on my face as he stood there with wide eyes, he looked at me in shock and his eyes darted to my father that held his father in the same position, before his eyes came back to me "how, how could you do this Roman, I thought... but you told me that your parents were dead, you said your last name was Thomas, you lied to me, how dare you?!" he screamed at me looking pissed and I just rolled my eyes before letting out a sigh.

"You are really stupid, no wonder your father kept you on a tight leash, you only just met me a few months ago and already you trusted me, you didn't so much as tried to do a back ground check and you're getting all antsy with me." I let out a chuckle shaking my head "this, all this is happening because of you, because you weren't diligent enough, because you trusted too easily, you claim to be the child of one of the greatest mafia heads, but you sure as hell don't show it, but hey, that's not my problem."

I heard my father speak to his but kept my eyes on Alain "you see Mr. Adessi, this is what the child of a true mafia boss looks like, they are strict, trained and trustworthy, not spoiled and useless like your children who should have been trained the way I trained my son's, but whatever, you know if you had just stayed away from my family and I you wouldn't be in this situation, you attacked the car that was taking my youngest to school and now you will pay for trying to hurt my family." with that he looked at me, without hesitation I planted a bullet in Alain's head, who's eyes rolled back and he dropped to the ground.

His mother and siblings all screamed and his father gritted his teeth, I turned to see my father watching Mr. Adessi "you try to attack my family again and he won't be the last child you lose, make a move before we leave and another one of your children will die." my father nodded to me and I walked out pulling my hood over my head, I walked and got in the car waiting on my father to come out before I pulled off and headed for our house.

My father was silent until we got inside, I gave my oat to the maid and headed for my room only to stop when my father said my name, I turned around to face him "good job Roman, you did well." I nodded and continued on my way to my room, I unlocked it and went straight to the shower stripping off my clothes and got under the hot water, I quickly scrubbed down my skin and got out drying off before I slipped into a pair of boxers and some sweats. I went to the bed and picked up my MAC. turning it on before I went to the chat site, there was a lot of messages from different people but none from the one person I wanted to speak to the most.

I sighed and dropped back on the bed just closing my eyes, it had been more than two months since I last spoke to Eleni and I was beyond worried, over time my mind had made up all sorts of scenario's pf what could have happened to him and I usually tried to block them out, I waited thinking he would get back to me, but when the website started counting down the last time he was active I couldn't take it anymore and I just wanted to go find him, just so I could talk to him, but my dad said I needed to finish my current job before I could go.

I jumped up realizing that we were done with our current job so I finally had my chance to go, I quickly went to my closet and pulled out a black t-shirt throwing it on and slipped on my chucks before heading down to my dad's office, I knocked on the door before I heard his voice telling me to come in, so I opened the door to see him sitting there behind his desk he was already out of his clothes and he was going through some files before he looked up and spoke "what is it Roman?"

"Dad you remember when I came to you a month ago and asked if I could take a trip to handle something personal and you said I could when the current job was done?"

"Yes I remember, so you want to take that trip now?" I nodded "what is it about?" I just started at him, there was no way in the world I was going to tell him about Eleni, he' definitely wouldn't let me go "if you don't let me know why you need to go then I can't let you, I can't risk your safety, I mean you do know this, why-" he was cut off when my mom spoke from the door.

"Oh come on my darling, let Roman do what he needs to, after all you promised, you gave him your word and people of the Balventia Family never go back on their word, now do we?" she asked walking over to my father slowly, he smiled at her and placed a chaste kiss on her lips.

"You're right my love." he turned to look at me and smiled "you may go, but you won't go alone." I was about to smile until he said the last part making me glare "don't look at me like that, I'm not stupid to allow my child to go out there on his own, you'll be taking Meris and Arelius with you, no if's, and's or but's got it?" I simply nodded not in the mood to talk to him, he gave me a smirk and I rolled my eyes before walking away.

I went up to Meris' door and knocked before pushing it open, he was sitting at his desk staring at the laptop screen while holding a pencil over his notebook "Meris" he hummed turning around in his chair to face me and pulled off his reading glasses "dad said I can go on the trip but you and Arelius have to come with me." Meris sighed rolling his eyes.

"Didn't you see that coming, do you honestly think father would let you go on a wild goose chase by yourself without protection, plus it's really hard for anyone to recognize the three of us because the only of father's children that anyone really know about is Lorenzo and even if they do, he knows we can defend ourselves, anyways I'll be ready in an hour, now the only thing you need to do is talk to Arelius." I sighed nodding and headed out his room closing the door behind me.

I turned and headed down to the end of the hall to the room with the black door, I knocked a few times and there was no answer so I just pushed it open and saw that as usual all the blinds were closed, so sighing I walked over and opened one only to receive a hiss in  return I turned around to see his black cat sitting on the edge of the bed ready to attack me, I jumped forward and it sprinted to the corner before I walked over to the bed and moved the covers for one Arelius wasn't sleeping.

I took a seat on the bed and the bathroom door opened with him coming out in his towel, he spoke without looking at me as he closed the blinds "what are you doing in here Roman?"

I watched as he went to go through his draw "dad gave me permission to go on a trip-"

"Let me guess, so you can go and find that guy you were speaking to, that hasn't spoken to you for a while." I nodded and he sighed "and what makes you think I would want to go with you?"

"Look dad said you had to come with me, I don't know why, but I just need you to come so I can get out of here as soon as possible, I'm worried abut him is all."

He sighed "it's not like I have a choice, I'll meet you in an hour now get out of my room and for the love of god stop scaring my cat." I chuckled and walked out the door closing it behind me as I headed for my own room.

I went and pulled out my suitcases and threw clothes after clothes in them before packing away my shoes and everything else I would need, soon me Meris and Arelius were heading out the door, my mother came up and placed a kiss on each of our heads and wished us a good trip before we left.
