<-------- Like because it's Danny's P.O.V and he has confessed his feelings finally! <3
Daniel P.O.V
I stared at her retreating figure from the window as she ran as if Hell itself was chasing her. I had done this to her. How could I have been so stupid? I had finally gotten a chance to make a difference, to be friends with the girl I had been crushing on since I had met her two months ago and I had blown it by rushing her.
I walked backing into the dark room and started to look through the photos that we had taken. My favourite was one of the two of us; we were lying back in the sand, grinning and pulling faces like idiots.
"Dude, was Hayley here?" James asked barging through the door. I squeaked as I slam the door behind him plunging is into darkness.
"What'd you do that for?"
"My photos! You could have destroyed them all!" I snapped angrily.
"Right, well I'm guessing Hayley was here." He said, picking up a photo and looking at it with the small red light in the far corner.
"Yes." I answered in a monotone even though it wasn't a question but a statement. I really wasn't in the mood to talk to him right now.
"Damn, What's going on with you two?" he asked, leaning against the door.
"Nothing." I mumbled averting my eyes from his.
"Really?" He sounded shocked. "It seemed like you were both pretty close.
"Yeah well there's nothing going on, and even if there was she's too hung up in this stupid Prince Charming." I shouted making him flinch and I realised that my fists had clenched in anger.
"Oh." He stopped for a second as a frown set upon his face then, all of a sudden, he grinned like a maniac.
"Ohh." He sang."I cannot believe Carl actually managed to make her fall for him!"
I suddenly looked up. "What?" I snapped, my voice low as I stared at him.
"Oh nothing." He mumbled quickly as his hand moved towards the door handle. But I was quicker; grabbing his shoulders, I shoved him against the wall holding him down.
"You were saying?" I prompted.
"I... I..." He stammered. I hated being mean to people, even if he was my stupid jerk of a brother but if something was going on that was going to hurt Hayley I had to know.
"I swear if I knew how you felt about her I would never had let him..."
"Tell me please James!" I begged and I stepped back to show him that I meant him no harm.
"You really do like her, don't you?" He asked straightening up. I nodded, my eyes pleading with him.
"I never told you, okay?" He warned before leaning really close to me. "It was a dare, the whole thing." He hissed in my ear.
"What?" I asked not believing him. How could they do that? Why would they do that?
"You see Carl isn't the sort of guy for relationships, he hates being tied down, but we knew he had a thing for Hayley. So, we all dared him to 'woo' her at the prom and if he did it and she fell for him he would get fifty quid from each of us and the girl. If he didn't he owed us fifty quid each." He explained, watching me to see if I had been following it all. I hid my clenched fists behind my back and I smiled back slowly.
