Chapter 8: Date?

The next few days were a blur. After that amazing kiss I stayed downstairs cuddled up next to Jack as we fell asleep. The next morning Russell came and got Jack apparently there was a huge problem at the gym and he needed Jack. Jack came back in his car so Russell wouldn't have to make so many trips up here. The whole day we talked, cuddled, and even took tucker out for a walk at the park. Jack couldn't stay he had a street fight that night so it was just me and Tucker. The next day I was up and ready for school when my phone started going off. It was a text message from Jack.

Jack<3- Hurry up doll face. I am taking you to school today(:

I smiled and skipped down the stairs. I made it to the door before the doorbell rang in time. Once I opened it Jack turned looking at me smiling. I smiled back and let him in. Once inside I leaped up and Jack caught me in a bear hug sort of. "Hey gorgeous miss me that much?" He chuckled hugging me. "Yes it was cold and lonely here last night," I said finally letting go as he gently, slowly slide me back down to the ground. I gasped when I finally saw it. Jack had a black eye. I began inspecting it crying wishing that my touch would make it go away. Jack flinched when I touched his eyebrow. I took a step back and looked at the floor. "Jack what happened?" I mumbled. "Nothing Jules I just took a hard swing," He said. I looked up and sighed. I know he's lying to me. Evan or his goons must have been there last night. I was frustrated and walked away to get my bag.

As I was turning the kitchen light off I felt two arms came around my stomach. I tensioned up not in the mood to be lovey dovey anymore. "Julie please don't push me away," Jack said in my ear. I pushed his arms away anyways and walked over to the counter. "Come on I don't want to be late for class," I said walking around him and towards the door. I heard him sigh and then his feet start walking behind me. Soon enough we were already outside and in the car. I moved myself closer to the window and watched the city go by. Suddenly we stopped in a vacant parking lot. I looked over at Jack annoyed until I saw his face. It was sad and torn. I sighed and unbuckled myself. I crawled over and hugged his head. "I'm sorry Jack It's just I thought you trusted me enough to tell me everything not lie to me," I said stroking his hair. He gently pushed me away so he could look into my eyes. "I do trust you Jules I just don't want you to be worried about me so much," He said. "Jack no matter what when you leave my house I worry all the time if I'm ever going to see you again," I said. I moved my hand up and put it on his left cheek. He looked up at me and I stroked his face. "I care about you Jack alot and I don't want to lose you," I said tearing up a little. "Really? You care about me that much?" He asked. I nodded and he smiled. I pulled his face closer to mine and kissed him slowly and sweetly. When we pulled apart I sat back in my seat. He pulled back off and grabbed my hand encasing it in his.

The whole ride to the school we stayed like that. Once at school I reluctantly let go of his hand and gathered my things. I leaped out and said bye shutting the door. I started to the school only to stop and turn back around. I skipped over to his door and he let the window down. "I forgot something," I said. he smiled and leaned towards me giving me a heart melting kiss. When we pulled apart we said good bye and I made my way to the school. Massie, Kimberly, and Kip were all at the tree with mouths hung open. "Can I be the first to say you go girl!? Massie shouted jumping up and hugging me. I smiled and nodded. "When did this happen?" Kip asked. "After your party we were at my house and we kissed then we have the rest of the last couple days together," I said smiling at the mere thought of me and Jack. "Well I am very proud and happy for you," Kim said giving me a huge bear huge. I laughed and blushed then the bell rang. We all groaned and headed off to class.

After school Jack picked me up and dropped me off at work. It was a raining outside so there were only two other people beside me in the library. I had nothing to do so I started to text jack when my phone buzzed.

I looked up confused and saw Jack chuckling at the front steps. I smiled and shook my head. He made his way over to the desk and leaned on it. "What are you dong here?" I asked. "Guess you don't know what time it is,: He said nodding his head towards the clock. I checked the time on my phone and noticed I had 5 minutes till closing time. Wow that went by quick. "Oh my bad it's been slow so I haven't really been paying much attention to the time," I said getting up and wiping my jeans off. He laughed and I walked towards the studying students. I quickly told them it was time to close and that I would give them time to check out any books right quick and gather their things. Ten minutes later I locked the door and sighed.

Turning back towards Jack he was smiling at me again. I checked myself wondering if I had anything on my face or on my clothes but no. "What are you smiling at Jack?" I asked walking towards him. "Oh um well I was thinking about..well....you see..." Spit it out Jack" I said cutting him off. He laughed and scratched the back of his neck. "Juliewouldyouliketogooutonadatewithmetomorrownight," He said it so fast it took me a minute to piece together what he had said. once I figured it out I smiled and walked up to him pressing our bodies together. He looked down at me nervously and I smiled. "Jack are you asking me out on a official date?" I asked. He nodded and I squealed a little. Jumping up In his arms he grabbed me by my bum as I wrapped my legs around him. "I'll take that as a yes," he chuckled holding me up. "Yes defiantly!" I laughed. He kissed me quick but sweet and put me back down. we smiled at each other then began gathering my stuff. We finished up cleaning and gathering then left the library headed to my house. Jack lead me up the stairs then gave me a quick kiss. "I have to go love but I will see you tomorrow alright? He said. I nodded and opened the door. I watched him cross the road to his car and get in. Once he drove off I closed the door and locked it. Wow I have a date tomorrow!
