One Tuesday morning, Maki and Nico arrived at school at the same time.

Nico moved a little closer to Maki, but Maki deliberately distanced herself.

"What's wrong with her? Acting weird," Nico thought.

Nico tried again, but Maki really pulled herself away this time.

"This is pissing me off!" Nico snapped in her mind.

Nico and Maki walked toward the main building until they reached their respective classrooms. Maki finally stepped into her room, and Nico looked at her for a second before heading to her classroom.

Hanayo and Rin came up to Maki and greeted her.

"Good morning, Maki-chan nya!" Rin chirped.

Hanayo followed suit, "Good morning, Maki-chan."

But Maki didn't speak. Not even a single word came out.

Rin began to ask her, "What's wrong, Maki-chan? You're so quiet."

Maki took a deep breath before she spoke. "Rin and Hanayo, could you two please not talk to me today? And don't come any closer to me... please?" She said, staring out the window, avoiding to make eye contact.

After she said it with her usual tone, Rin and Hanayo looked worried and shook their heads.

"No, Maki-chan, we can't nya!" Rin insisted.

"She's right, Maki-chan. Whatever your reason is, we won't do that," Hanayo added.

But Maki just kept staring outside, humming a tune as if she hadn't heard them.

After that, their teacher came in and started the class. Maki, like Hanayo, listened intently. However, something kept nagging at the back of Maki's mind. She couldn't stop thinking about it and lightly shook her head, trying to erase the thought.

AFTER CLASS

Maki was preparing her things to go home when Hanayo and Rin approached her.

"Maki-chan, let's go to the clubroom together," Hanayo suggested.

Maki didn't turn to face them.

"Sorry, Hanayo and Rin, I need to go home early today," Maki said as she hurried out of the classroom.

Hanayo and Rin were confused by Maki's strange behavior. They decided to go to the clubroom to meet the rest of their members without the red-head.

μ's: "Good Afternoon!"

"Eh? Where's Maki-chan?" Honoka asked, tilting her head.

Hanayo answered, "She said she needs to go home early."

"Eh? that's strange," Eli said, resting her chin on her hand.

μ's EXCEPT HANAYO AND RIN: "Why?"

"She doesn't do this every day right? If so, she would just stay in the music room to compose the music, and she's usually the first one to arrive here," Eli pointed out.

"You're right," Honoka nodded.

"Maybe it's something important?" Umi said, unsure.

"No," Hanayo interjected.
