It was Monday morning and after pulling on my signature outfit which consisted of my black leather jacket, black jeans and vans i was ready to have the worst day ever.I didn't eat anything as i was nervous and i was scared incase i would bring it all back up - that would be disgusting.
It only took a few minutes to drive to my new high school. When i arrived, I parked in the first space I seen.
Everyone was staring at me and I wondered if it was because of my car or if it was because i had my music up really loud - I still wasn't ready to listen to the police officer, he can't stop me from playing music.
I then came to the conclusion that it was because I was the "new kid".
I jumped out of my car, pretending that I didn't care about people staring at me but in reality, I was really fucking paranoid.
I knew that I was going to be myself today and probably all the time - I wasn't exactly someone who was confident and could talk to anyone. I was shy and sometimes it was really annoying, as it ruined so many opportunities for me.
Don't get me wrong, I would love to make new friends, I don't want to be a complete loner. I had two best friends from back home - Calum and Ashton. I miss them so much, they were the main reason why I really didn't want to leave my home.
As I was about to walk into the school building, I heard someone shout my name.
I was confused about who this could be, I didn't think anyone would know me yet. As I turned around, I recognized the two girls that were standing a few feet behind me - I had seen them at church yesterday.
"I like your style, I'm rusty if you can't remember." The girl with the blonde hair spoke, as her friend started laughing at her for being so forward, "Hey, I'm being serious. Don't let anyone tell you any different." Rusty continued as they began to walk on in front of me.
I smiled at her, "Thank you, Rusty. And it's Avril right?" I asked her friend, who stopped walking as soon as I was finished talking.
She spinned around quickly, "It's Ariel."
"Oh, Ariel." I repeated what she had said, my cheeks heating up at getting her name wrong, I only met her yesterday for crying out loud.
"Very good." Ariel smiled as she hooked arms with Rusty, and continued to walk on as if nothing had even happened.
I sighed loudly as I finally entered the front doors of the school. As I walked down the long corridors, I could still feel people staring at me but I tried my best to ignore it, I should have known that everyone was going to stare at me - I would have did the same if someone new had moved to my school.
As i was busy looking for my first class, which was Chemistry, I decided to look at the many pictures and exciting things that had happened over the years at Beaumont. I came across a notice board about a few teens, who had attended this school a few years back and died in a car crash.
Looking at the small map for a few more minutes, I still had no idea where on earth I was. This school was massive and I desperately wanted to ask someone to help me, but I didn't want to go and start up a conversation with someone I had never seen, or spoke to before.
Just as I turned the corner, a body came crashing into me, knocking the notepad I had in my arms onto the floor. I sighed as I bent down to pick it up before looking at the person who had bumped into me.
