three years later

Today was the day.

I was currently sitting on the bus, on my way to my new home, which I wasn't exactly happy about. I was from Sydney in Australia but my Mother recently passed away which left me with no parents to look after me, so my aunt so kindly invited me to stay with her in Beaumont

My dad was a complete waste of time, and I'm not being harsh. He left both my Mum and I, a child who was only five years old at the time, for a younger woman who was probably only after him for his money.

The bus soon came to a stop and I realised that this is where I would be getting off, jumping up from my seat I walked up to the front of the bus. When the doors opened I quickly thanked the bus driver before jumping off the bus and walking towards me new 'home'.

"LUKEY!" I heard screaming and little feet coming running towards me. I looked up to see my two little cousins, Sarah and Anna coming running towards me with open arms. When they finally reached me I crouched down and grabbed each one of them by an arm, swirling them around which caused them to giggle loudly.

"How are you two doing you little rascals!"I smiled as I put them back down of the ground. I grabbed each of their hands and continued walking.

"We're very good." Sarah, the older one answered for the both of them, she was a lot louder than Anna.

"We missed you Lukey. We haven't seen you in ages." Anna pouted as she looked up at me with big eyes which caused my heart to melt.

"Well I'm here now, and I'm here to stay." I grinned to assure them both that I wasn't going to disappear any time soon. It's not as if I want to stay here, but it's not like I have any other options.

"Mum is so excited to see you, she decorated our spare room for you and everything." Sarah piped up as we reached the house, opening the door and leading me inside. "MUM, LUKE IS HERE!" She roared which made my ears bleed, she could shout really loud.

"Luke! Darling, I'm so happy you are here." Aunt Jess smiled as she pulled me in for a bone crushing hug. After she was done welcoming me into the town, her husband John welcomed me in the same way, as if they wanted me to feel at home as much as possible.

"We can show you to your room if you'd like. Girls go and eat your lunch that I have ready for you." Jess pointed her finger at the two small girls whose eyes widened at the mention of food, as they raced to the kitchen. They definitely took something after their older cousin.

Jess lead me to my new room as she started up another conversation, "I have talked to the principal of your new school and I informed him already that you are very smart. So I don't think you will have any problems." She notified me

"Do I really have to go to school?" I groaned.

One thing I hated was high school. My reason isn't something stupid like having to get up early or having too much homework. I literally just hate the place. There is not one thing that I liked about having to start a new school and make new friends.
