Friend or Foe?

LUKE

I was startled when I woke up. Thalia and Annabeth were already packing and they were already dressed up to go in the city. "Hey! Are you going to leave me here?! Why does nobody wake me up?!" I shouted at them.

They both looked at me, then they looked at each other and laughed. I scratched my head, "Oh, boy..." I said to myself. I got out of bed, and stretched my body.

They both ran into me and brought me breakfast --just an ordinary camper breakfast. "For you. Thalia made this." Annabeth said. I looked at Thalia and she just smiled.

I was thinking why are they doing this to me. It's not my birthday, or whatever. "Hmm. Okay. What's with this? Why are you doing this to me?... You two want something aren't you?" I asked.

Thalia laughed, "Nothing. We just want to thank you for everything." she said. She put her hands around Annabeth's shoulder, and looked at her, "Right, Annabeth?" she added.

Annabeth smiled at her and she nodded to me. "B-But why didn't you wake me up?!" I protested.

"You need more rest. You slept late last night, remember?" Thalia said. True, I slept late because I cleared all the obstacles we made, and because of my argument with Hermes. She cleared her throat, "Plus, I wouldn't do it if it weren't for Annabeth." she added.

I raised an eyebrow at her, "Oh," I said, but I could see her blush.

Without looking at me, Thalia said, "We'll pack up the other things. Enjoy the food!" then she grabbed Annabeth with her which made Annabeth tripped a little. "Oww!" Annabeth muttered, but they continued walking away.

I ate the breakfast they made for me as quickly as possible. We can't afford to lose time in our journey, especially today that we're going to stop by in the city to buy Annabeth's books. I quickly went to the river and cleaned myself, and when I was about to put on some clean clothes, I realized my clothes were already packed. I wore my jeans and went back to get some clothes.

I was drying my hair with my shirt, when Thalia turned and saw me coming. Her mouth dropped open, so I stopped in front of her, "What?" I asked.

She covered her mouth, then she cleared her throat, "Put on some shirt, will you?" she said.

I didn't realize that I was shirtless in front of Thalia, that's just how I'm comfortable with her. She opened my bag, then she threw some shirt on me. I laughed, then I decided to tease her so without putting my shirt on, I moved closer to her, as quietly as I could, while she continue to pack our things. Then quickly, I wrapped my arms around her waist to grab her, "Luke!!" she shouted. Then I carried her and turned her around while I laughed at her. She cursed me as I turn her around and kept slapping at my arms. As soon as I released her on the ground, I tickled her, both of us laughing. "Luke, stop it!!!" she pleaded as she laugh.

Annabeth heard us laughing, so she went closer. As soon as she saw us, she began to laugh at us. "Help me tickle Thalia, Annabeth!" I said. She nodded and ran into us. We both torture Thalia by tickling her. What a nice bonding for a family it is. After a while, Thalia shouted, "Gods! Please!! Stop!!" As soon as she said that, thunder roared in the sky so we all stopped laughing and looked at the sky, then we looked at one another and stopped doing whatever we're doing.

I quickly grabbed the shirt that Thalia threw at me, and wore it. "Thanks, dad." Thalia muttered. I looked at her and she was panting. She put his arms on Annabeth's shoulder, then she looked at me, "Afraid of the lightning?" she smirked.

I chuckled, "You don't want to mess with the Gods, Thalia." I said. "W-Why did he just do that, anyway?" I asked.

"Maybe he thought you're harrassing me!" Thalia said, then Annabeth laughed.
