Sammy, Jack and Jack, and Reece have went missing as of two hours ago. So has Nash. I'm going out of my mind but I guess it really isn't called for.
"Stop pacing and chill out please." Delano laughs trying to make what looks like chicken. Looking at it, it doesn't seem edible. I walk up to him then down at his dish.
"This is why we have Nash." I say matter of factly. He rolls his eyes, pushing me away. I laugh.
"Well you don't see him here, do you?" He teases. I want to punch him but I decide against it. Sitting on the stool of the kitchen island I watch him.
Part of me wants to ask about him and Sammy. Or at least if he notices anything between Nash and I. It's come to light that all the guys have had to notice something. Even if it's the smallest tidbit.
He turns to me with an irritated expression. "I know I look good but there's no need stare."
Immediately I roll my eyes at his words. As you can see, Delano is not the most humble person in the world. But I put up with him.
"Oh please, Delano..." I hop off the stool and walk to the living room with my phone. It's already 5 and they haven't come back yet. I text Nash.
if you guys don't come back soon, Lano will no longer live.
Nash doesn't reply right away but when he does it's just a bland response. Deciding to give up on texting him I yell to Delano in the kitchen.
"Wanna get something to eat?" I ask. He runs in with a nasty look on his face. I start to laugh already knowing that his chicken wasn't too good.
"yeah,"he starts to look for his sneakers and I just slip on a pair of flip flops. "I think Sam left his car."
...
Arriving back to the house with a bunch of fast food in our arms we sit in my room and watch What's Eating Gilbert Grape. Prior, we were talking about Nash's painting.
"It's cool. I don't remember the last time I saw him in action." Delano says. I nod understandingly. Nash was very conservative. He doesn't like to draw attention to himself - no pun intended. Everyone knew he had a knack for art but they just sort of kept it in mind.
"Don't nod like you agree." He laughs. "You probably witnessed it everyday. You and him were always closer than everyone else."
His claim makes me chuckle. It is sort of true but I could never put one of the guys over another. They all mean a lot to me.
"Just like you and Sammy," I mutter smartly. His turns towards me sharply and I stand from the bed immediately. At this point Arnie is giggling wildly on the tv and it symbolizes how I feel right now.
"What?" Delano asks. I grab my phone from the desk ready to burst in a fit of laughter. I shrug and sit at the edge of the bed starting to text Nash.
"So... are you going to elaborate?" He asks awkwardly.
don't worry I'm coming.
whoa... Nash I didn't need to know that
lol very funny. one day tho
"'lano," I call him by his nickname. "do I really need to?"
I turn to him and I know he's uncomfortable. But once someone knows something, no matter how hard you wish, they can't unknown it.
"just don't-" before he even finishes his sentence I already have the same thought forming in my mind.
"tell anyone. Don't worry. I figured if you didn't tell anyone on your own, you weren't ready." I explain. He nods, seemingly relieved. He pulls out his phone and I turn the tv up a little more.
"I don't see you any different. If anything, you and I are in the same boat." He turns to me with a knowing glance and I scoff. As if he didn't know. "I wish I could do what you did."
He laughs and does a little grinding motion in the seat all goofy. I smile and chuckle. "have a little nashty time." I shake my head at his joke but I still can't shake my laugher. "It's ok to be jealous."
