"Hey can you tell Hayes and the guys that I'm going home for a couple days?" I tell Nash, pulling my hair into a tiny pony tail at the top of my head. My hair grows like a beanstalk and I need it cut already.

Nash's face shrivels at my words as he pulls his gym gloves off his hands. "why are you going back there?" He asks.

I shrug. "I still have a family, Nash.  And we did kind of just disappear. I'm surprised they let me have this much freedom as is."

He rolls his eyes just as Reece begins to talk beside the jacks. I already have a feeling of what they're all thinking. It gets annoying hearing about how I'm old enough to make my own decisions.

"Cameron, you're -"

"eighteen! I know, guys! But that does not mean my parents aren't overbearing and will throw me out of their life because I went from 17 to the next number." I turn around and start to walk back into the house. They are silent now.

I open the back door careful not to slam it because it's made of glass. I have no wish to be out there on the back patio with the guys right now. It's windy anyways and too early in the afternoon to fight.

"Hey mom," I speak into my phone after dialing her. She asks what's going on and I tell her.

"I'm gonna come back today, if that's alright." I speak shyly into the phone. Considering I was so eager to leave and stay away it's weird to tell her I want to be back. I must really be a big baby because I want to go home.

She immediately reacts with an I told you so tone. Saying that I shouldn't have gone in the first place and I wouldn't have liked it. I cut her down letting her know every thing is fine with my decisions and interest in everything

"I just miss you and dad, you know?" I smile. She giggles and yells to my father that I'm being girly and gushy.

"Plus, I can't live on 5 outfits can I?" She laughs happily. I know that even though I am her little man she and my dad can't wait to have me out of the house being an adult.  Eventually we hang up and see Nash standing at the entrance of the kitchen.

"Talk to me." He suddenly says after a moment of silence.

"I want to get my things and visit my family. I'm not fully moved out yet, remember?" I remind him and he nods.

"Does. that mean I'm welcomed?" He smiles widely and I laugh. If he thinks he's leaving this house he's crazy.

"with these guys here alone? hell no!" We laugh together for a minute. He grabs his keys on the side of the kitchen island before I can.

"So you can give me the keys and play man of the house." He chuckles and walks me to the front door opening it for me. I continue walking but am stopped by Nash's arm pulling me back.

"Try not to fall asleep, okay?" He whispers. I nod. His concern has me overthinking my decision. I really don't want to go alone anymore but it's whatever I suppose.

His hand cups my cheek and he kisses the other. I feel as red as crimson and slightly embarrassed because of my reaction. I swoon at the feel of his lips and sadly he parts away.

"Be safe." I nod, although I should be saying that to him. Living in a house with those guys and being the only sane one is tough.
